Support legs for a stationary exercise bicycle

An indoor, stationary, bicycle training device that provides advantages over conventional designs of exercise bicycles is provided. The stationary bicycle may include a tilting/pivoting mechanism to orient the indoor bicycle to simulate descending or climbing. The indoor bicycle may include flexible and resilient frame elements to support the indoor training device to move side-to-side under some riding situations thereby simulating the side-to-side swaying motion of an outdoor bicycle under the same riding situations. The indoor bicycle may include several combinations of frame adjustments to provide configurable dimensions of the indoor bicycle to adjust the frame to properly fit the rider, which may be adjusted based on corresponding dimensions of a user's outdoor bicycle. Still other aspects of the stationary bicycle device may aid in creating an 'outdoor' feeling while using the device.

A training device for use with a bicycle includes a shuttle guide member including a lower end and an upper end that define an axis therebetween. A shuttle is operably coupleable to a front end of the bicycle and translatable along the axis by a drive coupled to the shuttle. When coupled to the front end of the bicycle, translation of the shuttle along the axis by the drive results in each of a rotation of the shuttle guide member about a pivot and a change in elevation of the front end of the bicycle.

Stationary bicycle frame

An ironing board assembly for use with a door. The assembly includes an elongated ironing board and an ironing board support. An upper end of the ironing board support is attached to the top of the door so that the ironing board support extends along and closely adjacent one side of the door. One end of the ironing board is attachable to a lower end of the ironing board support so that the ironing board is movable between a first position in which the ironing board extends horizontally outwardly from the door and a second position in which the ironing board extends vertically and closely adjacent the side of the door and so that a top of the ironing board faces outwardly from the door. A first latch locks the ironing board in its first position while, similarly, a second latch locks the ironing board in its second position.
