Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is H or halogen, R.sup.2 is halogen, X is H, cyano, ethynyl or thioamido, n is an integer from 1-4 and each Y is H or halogen, are useful as pesticides.

Certain benzyl-substituted furylmethyl oxime ethers, useful as insecticides.

Furylmethyloxime ethers

Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is alkenyl, aralkyl or alkyl; X is H, CN, thioamide, or alkynyl; and Y is phenoxyphenyl or phthalimido, are useful as pesticides.

2-Substituted isovaleric acid ester pesticides

Pesticidal benzyl ethers of the formula: ##STR1## wherein each symbol has a meaning defined in the specification.

Benzyl ethers

Alpha-cyano-phenoxybenzyl-isovalerates

New cyanobenzyl cyclopropane carboxylates of the formula: ##EQU1## where Hal represents a halogen atom; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represent an alkyl group; and X represent an optionally substituted phenyl group are useful as pesticides.
