A compact operation sensitive reminder device that is readily attachable to almost any movable item and that emits an alert signal (e.g., audio, visible or tactile) when the item is initially changed from an non-operative condition to an operative condition and then remains silent during the item's operation, and emits the alert signal again only after a certain amount of time that the item has remained non-operative.

The handset stores the simulated tattoo on a roll for dispensing, contains water storage, pump and atomizer to moisten the tattoos for application, transfer or removal, and a hairbrush for doll and child use.

A word game playing piece having at least one gravity-stable playing position, at least one gravity-unstable playing position, and a holder that supports the playing piece in its gravity-unstable position. The playing piece is provided with word game indicia, concealed when the playing piece is in its gravity-stable playing position, and revealed when the playing piece is supported in its gravity-unstable playing position by the holder. The player piece is automatically self-righting from gravity-unstable to gravity-stable position to minimize the exposure of its indicia to view.

A light sequencer for a toy having a simple way for individually varying the on and off times of each stage of a chain or ring. Each stage has a light controlling amplifier/switch whose gain is individually controlled by a hysteresis element. When the voltage across the hysteresis element is below its set breakdown voltage, it non-conducts, thereby causing the amplifier/switch to have negative gain, and the controlled light is not lit. When the voltage across a hysteresis element equals or exceeds its set breakdown voltage, it `fires` into a highly-conductive state, causing the amplifier/switch to have very high gain, and the controlled light is lit. The hysteresis element remains in its conductive state until the voltage across it drops below recovery voltage level. Then it switches back to non-conductive state, causing the amplifier/switch to have negative gain, and the controlled light is not lit. The difference between breakdown or `firing` voltage and recovery voltage is the hysteresis factor. Having hysteresis factor control gain of an amplifier/switch enables use of a simple Resistor-Capacitor circuit between the stages to control the on and off times of each stage in the chain, and the period time of the chain, or loop time of a ring. Varying resistor and capacitor values of each stage will cause a pseudo-random effect, thereby provoking greater interest on the part of the viewer.

A multiple graphics selection toy having a plurality of graphics-bearing elements that are individually rotatable between a position in which the graphics are concealed and a position in which the graphics are revealed, and having a manually operable selector control by which an individual graphics-bearing element is moved from either of the positions to the other. The graphics may be two or three-dimensional representations of animals and other characters of interest to children.

A ball tossing device includes a tossing mechanism and a foot pedal assembly which is manually depressible for actuating the tossing mechanism to toss a ball upwardly into the air so that it can be hit with a bat. The tossing mechanism includes a timer assembly which delays the ball tossing action of the device by a predetermined delay interval so that a batter can assume a fully ready position before the ball is tossed into the air.

A child's baseball glove includes a hand member including a palm section, a finger section, a thumb section, and a webbing section connecting the thumb section to the finger section, and a padded pocket member which extends along the front side of the thumb section, across the base portion of the palm section, along the front side of the outer portion of the finger section and across the upper end portion of the front side of the finger section to substantially define the perimeter of a pocket in the glove. The glove preferably further includes an elongated padded retainer member which is detachably secured to opposite side portions of the pocket member and extends in outwardly spaced relation across the base portion of the palm section. The glove can be initially used by a young child with the retainer member in place in order to enable the child to more easily catch and retain a ball in the pocket of the glove, and after the child has developed an initial level of proficiency at utilizing the glove, the retaining member can be removed to enable the glove to be used in a manner similar to a conventional baseball glove.
