A differential pressure sensor for determining the differential pressure between two pressures includes a converter chamber including a differential pressure measuring cell, and a measuring unit including a main body and a coplanar double-membrane system with two double membranes, each including a separating membrane and an overload membrane with a pressure chamber between the separating membrane and the overload membrane and an additional pressure chamber between the overload membrane and the main body. Each pressure chamber and each additional pressure chamber is paired with at least one capillary connection such that in the event of an overpressure, the overpressure is hydraulically transmitted from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side via a hydraulic fluid such that the overload membrane and the separating membrane are deflected, and the hydraulic fluid displaced from the high-pressure side to the additional pressure chamber on the low-pressure side before the overpressure reaches the pressure-sensitive element.

A pressure gauge for measuring a pressure includes: a pressure measuring cell; a rotationally symmetric sensor bushing configured to accept the pressure measuring cell; a rotationally symmetrical process connection for releasably attaching the pressure gauge to a measuring point; a process seal to prevent the process medium entering the pressure gauge; the process connection and/or the sensor bushing having multiple individual recesses configured such that the individual recesses together form a fluidic path group of multiple fluidic individual paths extending parallel to one another, by means of which, in the event that the process seal fails, the process medium is conducted from a sealing plane for the process seal to at least one opening visible from the outside when the pressure gauge is in an installed state, the individual recesses configured such that a total cross-sectional area of the recesses forming the path group has a predefined minimal cross-sectional area.

A relative-pressure sensor for determining a pressure of a medium in relation to an atmospheric pressure includes a housing; a measuring element arranged in the housing, wherein the pressure to be measured acts upon an outer surface of the measuring element in contact with the medium; a reference-pressure supply, which supplies an inner surface of the measuring element with atmospheric pressure in the form of ambient air, an evaluation unit, which determines the pressure of the medium from a variable determined using the measuring element; and at least one drying chamber arranged in the housing for taking up atmospheric humidity from the ambient air supplied through the reference-pressure supply. A bushing can be pressed into the housing and has a capillary-type groove, which is helical at least in sections and runs around the bushing.

A relative-pressure sensor determines the pressure of a medium in relation to an atmospheric pressure. The sensor includes a housing having a measuring element located in the housing, wherein the pressure to be measured acts upon an outer surface of the measuring element. The surface is in contact with the medium. The sensor also includes a reference-pressure supply, which supplies an inner surface of the measuring element with atmospheric pressure in the form of ambient air, and an evaluation unit, which determines the pressure of the medium from a variable determined using the measuring element. A drying chamber takes-up atmospheric humidity from the ambient air that is supplied via the reference-pressure supply. The drying chamber has a drying module comprising a container and a humidity-adsorbing material that is completely surrounded by the container.

A corrosion protection element is described, with which in simple and cost effective manner a reliable corrosion protection of field devices can be provided, which field devices comprise at least one component of stainless steel in contact with an environment of the field device. Corrosion protection elements of the invention are distinguished by features including that they are embodied as sacrificial anodes comprising iron or rustable steel and have a form, which is embodied in such a manner that they can be applied to the component of the field device in such a manner that the sacrificial anode is in electrically conducting contact with the component.

The present disclosure discloses process seals having a form retaining core and a coating of a thermoplastic sealing material for pressure sensors. The process seals can be replaced in simple manner, especially essentially without loss of measurement accuracy. The process seals are characterized by features including that they are pre-aged in a pre-aging method performable in a reproducible manner and insertable in the pressure sensor as replaceable components, wherein the process seals were clamped during the pre-aging method in a clamping apparatus exerting a clamping force thereon, wherein the clamping apparatus has a clamping geometry surrounding the process seal clamped therein, which is essentially identical to the clamping geometry surrounding the process seal in the pressure sensor.

A pressure sensor for measuring a pressure difference between a pressure being measured and the ambient atmospheric pressure surrounding the pressure sensor, including a platform and a membrane loadable with a pressure being measured. The membrane is secured at its edge to the platform, with a pressure chamber thus being formed between the platform and the measuring membrane. The pressure chamber communicates over a reference air path with the atmosphere, with the reference air path being a winding path.
