A medicament injection device comprising a main body arranged to receive a medicament cartridge; a needle carrier carrying a needle, wherein the needle carrier is axially movable with respect to the main body; and a rotatable cap at a distal end of the device, wherein the cap is removably coupled to the needle carrier, a releasable arrangement between the main body and the cap comprising a guide element and a slotted link, wherein the slotted link is arranged to cause the guide element to follow a predefined path at least partly in an axial direction during rotational movement of the cap, thereby causing the needle carrier to move axially towards a proximal end of the device as the cap is rotated up to a predefined point, wherein the main body comprises a medicament cartridge holder comprising the guide element depending therefrom for engagement with the cap.

Medicament injection device

In one aspect, the disclosure relates to a reminder system and to an auxiliary device for a drug delivery device. The auxiliary device includes a housing, a wireless communication interface configured to communicate with an external electronic device, a processor connected to the wireless communication interface and configured to process at least a signal generating request received from the external electronic device via the wireless communication interface. The auxiliary device further includes at least one signal generator connected to the processor and configured to generate at least one signal when triggered by the processor. The processor is operable to trigger the signal generator in response to receive a signal generating request from the wireless communication interface.

Auxiliary device and reminder system for a drug delivery device

An injection device including a housing, a dose indicator, and a release mechanism. The dose indicator is positioned within the internal space of the housing and includes a number of engaging members at least one thereof being configured to contact multiple of distinct ratchet features in course of a helical or screwing movement in distinct positions to provide a user with a tactile indexing appearance in the way of an increased or decreased dwelling torque at each of the multiple distinct positions. The release mechanism is connected to the dose indicator and includes a drive member. The release mechanism is configured to, when activated during dose dispense, urge the engaging members away from the distant position and against the force of the resilient bias thereby suspending the indexing ratchet appearance at least for a subset of the multiple distinct positions.

Injection device

A medicament delivery device comprising: a main body arranged to receive a medicament cartridge sealed with a penetrable barrier; a needle carrier carrying a needle; a cap removably coupled to the needle carrier, a pre-stressed spring connected to the needle carrier and to the main body, wherein the pre-stressed spring is held by an activation element coupled to the cap, wherein the activation element is arranged to release the spring when the cap is pulled in a distal direction from the device, thereby causing the needle carrier to move axially in a proximal direction.

Device for managing a medication regime

Implementations of a present disclosure are directed to a drug delivery device including a reservoir, a stopper, and a light emitting-detecting system. The reservoir includes a wall defining a proximal end and a distal end. The stopper includes an optically reflecting element. The stopper is configured to expel a portion of a medicament stored within the reservoir by moving within the reservoir in a direction from the distal end to the proximal end, such that a stopper position is indicative of an amount of the medicament within the reservoir. A light emitting system of the light emitting-detecting system is configured to provide a light signal towards the stopper from the distal end.
