A transport carriage for a patient bed has a first arm for placement of the patient bed thereon and a second arm for coupling the patient bed thereto. A medical treatment of examination system employing such a transport carriage has a number of medical devices for treatment of examination of a subject, each of these medical devices having a patient support mechanism associated therewith, with a differently configured patient bed. The patient beds are removable from the respective support mechanisms, and the transport carriage is configured to receive and transport any of these differently configured patient beds.

A medical device installation has a number of medical and/or treatment devices of different of different types disposed at a common installation, and a medical facility has a number of medical treatment and/or examination devices respectively disposed at separate locations. In the installation or the facility, a number of patient support mechanisms are respectively individually, stationarily allocated to the medical devices. A patient bed is movable among and is respectively couplable to each of the patient support mechanisms. For this purpose, each of the patient support mechanisms has an identical coupling device for the bed.

Patient-supporting apparatus for a piece of medical equipment

A urological patient bed has a table top supported by a pedestal, the table top being composed of a first plate section made of X-ray-transparent material and a second plate section, the first plate section and the second plate section being fashioned as separate plate modules that are adjacently arranged. These plate sections are detachably fastened so as to be exchangeable in their arrangement, so that different table top configurations can be selectively formed.
