A single-track motor vehicle or a multi-track motor vehicle with tilt technology, includes one or more environment sensors that are installed in the front of the motor vehicle and that are arranged for detecting an area in front of the motor vehicle, and a control unit. The control unit controls an actuator while the motor vehicle is travelling depending on the position of the motor vehicle that is detected by the position sensor system in such a way that when the motor vehicle is tilted along a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis thereof, the movable element is moved by means of the actuator so that the position of a respective environment sensor is not rotated relative to the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle when the motor vehicle is tilted compared to the position of the respective environment sensor when the motor vehicle is not tilted.

In order to support the driving of an ego-vehicle, the following steps are carried out: gathering information from the environment of the ego-vehicle; processing the gathered information, in such a way that it is detected whether a neighboring vehicle is in the environment of the ego-vehicle, and if a neighboring vehicle is detected, additionally gathering and/or processing information relating to the neighboring vehicle in order to assign at least one typical attribute to the neighboring vehicle; and, according to the at least one typical attribute of the neighboring vehicle, providing control information for driving the ego-vehicle.

Assistance when driving a vehicle

A holographic display system for a vehicle includes a projection unit (), a holographic beam combiner (), and a viewing mirror ('). The projection unit includes a light source for the emission of a luminous signal and a controllable imaging unit illuminated by the light source, with which image information can be modulated on the luminous signal. The modulated luminous signal can be directed against the holographic beam combiner. The viewing mirror (&#x2032;) is provided in or on the vehicle, by which mirror light radiated from the holographic beam combiner (&#x2032;) can be directed into the optical perception range of a user.

A projection system and method are provided, the system includes a radiation source for generating electromagnetic radiation outside the visible wavelength range, an imaging unit, which can be irradiated by the radiation source, and a projection screen having a radiation-sensitive surface which, when excited by means of the above-mentioned invisible radiation, can emit fluorescent light in the visible wavelength range. The radiation-sensitive surface is formed of a material which, irrespective of the position, emits fluorescent light of different wavelengths as a function of the wavelength of the excitation radiation, and the radiation source can emit excitation radiation of different wavelengths.

A display device includes having a display unit which comprises a scale with graphic information and an indicator element which can be aligned as a function of at least one input parameter with a position of the scale. In order to ensure a better readability particularly in the case of small display devices, the display of the graphic information is changed in an area around the momentary position of the indicator element in comparison to a normal display.
