An electrical connector includes a first housing. A second housing is moveable relative to the first housing and includes a travel peg. The electrical connector also includes a lever. The lever includes two lever arms that are joined by a handle. Each of the lever arms is attached to the first housing and allows relative rotational movement of the lever about a lever axis. The lever may be moved from a pre-stage position to a final position. The lever engages the travel peg to move the second housing linearly in an insertion direction from a pre-stage position to a seated position relative to the first housing. The travel peg moves along a peg path when the second housing is moved from the pre-stage position to the seated position. The peg path is located between the lever axis and the handle.

An electrical connector includes a connector body and at least two electric terminals. A fuse is supported on the connector body and at least one of the electric terminals is supported by the fuse.

A charger system for use in a vehicle to charge a vehicle battery includes a first charger and a second charger. The chargers are connected to a vehicle bus. Each charger has a master indication digital input and decodes the input to determine its role as master charger or slave charger. The master charger configures its connection to the vehicle bus to use a master node message set. The slave charger configures its connection to the vehicle bus to use a slave node message set.

A connector having an optimized tip is disclosed. The tip may be optimized to facilitate insulating the connector and/or providing a low friction surface to facilitate insertion. The tip may be optimized with a non-conducting and/or low friction end cap configured to be positioned over the tip.

A connector assembly having a body is provided. The body forms an inlet, an internal cavity, and an outlet. A plate is oriented in the cavity and adjacent to the outlet. A harness partially extends through the inlet, into the cavity, and is connected to the plate. A molded material is disposed over the harness within the internal cavity on an inlet side of the plate. The molded material includes an integrally formed grommet that is oriented at the inlet of the body for providing strain relief to the harness.

A high voltage connector system includes a first header for connection to a first electronic device, a first connector that connects to the first header, a second header that connects to a second electronic device, a second connector that connects to the second header, and a plurality of wires connecting the first connector and the second connector. The first header includes a first plurality of header terminals that are electrically connected together such that a high voltage electric current is divided into a plurality of sub-currents. The second header has a second plurality of header terminals that are electrically connected together such that the plurality of sub-currents are joined together to reform the first high voltage electric current.
