A fuel connection unit () for a fuel-operated vehicle heater () includes a connection unit body (), which can be arranged at a heater housing (). A fuel release line connection area () connects a fuel release line leading to a combustion chamber. A fuel feed line connection area () projects from the connection unit body () for connecting a fuel feed line. At least one functional unit (), for influencing the flow of fuel in a fuel flow volume () formed in the connection unit body (), is provided in the connection unit body ().

Fuel connection unit

A fuel connection unit for a fuel-operated vehicle heater includes a connection unit body () to be mounted on a heater body (). A fuel release line connection area () is positioned such that it meshes with or faces an interior () of the heater body (). The fuel release line connection area () connects a fuel release line (), extending in the interior (), with a fuel feed line connection area () to be positioned exposed on an outer side of the heater body (), for connecting a fuel feed line.

A vehicle heater includes a heater housing () elongated in a direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L). A housing circumferential wall () defines a combustion air flow space (). A combustion chamber assembly unit () is carried on the heater housing and has a combustion chamber () receiving combustion air from the combustion air flow space. A combustion air blower (), with a combustion air blower housing (), is carried on the heater housing. A combustion air inlet opening (), in the combustion air blower housing, provides the inlet for combustion air into the combustion air blower. A combustion air connection unit (), carried on the heater housing, has a combustion air passage duct () open outwardly in a first duct opening area () for receiving combustion air. The combustion air passage duct is open towards the combustion air inlet opening in a second duct opening area ().

Vehicle heater

A vehicle heater includes a combustion chamber assembly unit () to be fed with fuel and combustion air, a housing () with a circumferential wall () defining a combustion air flow space (), a combustion air blower () adjoining an end face () of the circumferential wall () of the housing () in the direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L), a fuel feed line and a sealing formation with a first sealing formation area arranged between the end face () of the circumferential wall () and the blower housing (). A second sealing formation area () is positioned to mesh with a fuel feed line passage opening () for establishing a closure between the circumferential wall () and the fuel feed line (). The sealing formation () includes a sealing element () providing the first sealing formation area () and the second sealing formation area ().

A vehicle heater combustion chamber assembly includes a housing area () with an ignition element mount () supporting an ignition element () and another housing area () defining a fluid flow space () with an access opening (). The ignition element or/and an electric ignition element line () is moveable through the access opening. An elastically deformable closing element () closes the access opening and includes a meshing area (), interacting with a housing area wall () surrounding the ignition element access opening and including an inner meshing area supported relative to an inner surface of the wall, which faces the fluid flow space. The closing element includes a closing element bottom () with an outer bottom surface () oriented outwardly, in the direction away from the fluid flow space. The outer bottom surface is offset in a direction of a closing element longitudinal axis towards the fluid flow space.

Combustion chamber assembly

A hot air feed wheel, for a vehicle heater, includes a hub () to fix the hot air feed wheel () to a drive shaft and a feed area (), adjacent to the hub (), in a transition area (). A plurality of feed blades () are arranged following one another about a feed wheel longitudinal axis (L) in the circumferential direction. The transition area () includes a plurality of connection webs () following one another about the feed wheel longitudinal axis (L) in the circumferential direction.

Hot air feed wheel

A vehicle heater includes a heat exchanger assembly unit () and a blower assembly unit (). The heat exchanger assembly unit () has a first sealing surface () and the blower assembly unit () includes a second sealing surface (), which is positioned opposite the first sealing surface () at a predefined location determined by the spacer arrangement (). A sealing element () is clamped in between the first sealing surface () and the second sealing surface ().

A heat exchanger arrangement (), especially for a fuel-operated vehicle heater, includes an outer pot-shaped housing () having an outer bottom wall () and an outer circumferential wall () extending along a longitudinal axis (L). An inner pot shaped housing () has an inner bottom wall () and an inner circumferential wall () extending along the longitudinal axis (L). A flow space () for fluid whose temperature is to be regulated is formed between the inner housing () and the outer housing (). At least one liquid uptake volume () for taking up liquid condensed in the inner housing ().

Heat exchanger arrangement, especially for a fuel-operated vehicle heater

A heat exchanger assembly for a vehicle heating device includes inner heat exchanger housing () and outer heat exchanger housing (). A fluid flow space () is formed between the inner heat exchanger housing and the outer heat exchanger housing. Flow guiding formations (), along circumferential walls () of the housings, divide a portion of the fluid flow space into a first partial flow space () and a second partial flow space (). A fluid inlet opening () opens to the first partial flow space and at least one fluid outlet opening () opens to the second partial flow space (). A press fit formation () fixes the inner heat exchanger housing in relation to the outer heat exchanger housing and includes the first flow guiding formation and the second flow guiding formation and/or the press fit formation is in an end region () of the circumferential walls.

Heat exchanger arrangement

A combustion chamber assembly unit, especially for a vehicle heater, includes a combustion chamber housing () extending in the direction of a combustion chamber housing longitudinal axis (L), a support area () extending radially outwards in relation to the combustion chamber housing (), a sealing element () with a first sealing area () on a first axial side of the support area () and a second sealing area () on a second axial side, opposite the first axial side, of the support area (). A deformation connection area () connects the first sealing area () and the second sealing area () to one another and encloses the support area () in a circumferential section that is radially outwards.

Combustion chamber assembly unit and method for construction of a combustion chamber assembly unit

A vehicle heater heat exchanger arrangement () includes: a pot-like heat exchanger housing () with a first bottom wall () in a first axial end area () and with a first circumferential wall () adjoining the first bottom wall and enclosing a longitudinal axis (L); and a pot-like outer heat exchanger housing () with a second bottom wall () in the first axial end area and with a second circumferential wall () adjoining the second bottom wall and enclosing the longitudinal axis. The inner heat exchanger housing and the outer heat exchanger housing are connected to one another in a second axial end area () and a fluid flow space () is formed between the inner heat exchanger housing and the outer heat exchanger housing. The second axial end area has an outwardly open recess () defined by the inner heat exchanger housing or/and by the outer heat exchanger housing.

Heat exchanger arrangement, especially for a vehicle heater

A blower housing, especially for a side channel blower, includes a first housing part () with a motor mounting space () for a blower motor (). A rotor shaft (), rotatable about a shaft axis of rotation (A), of a blower motor () is or can preferably be rotatably mounted at the first housing part (). A housing cover () seals the motor mounting space (). The housing cover () has a cover meshing opening (). A second housing part (), with a cover meshing projection (), is positioned or can be positioned in a meshing manner in the cover meshing opening (). The cover meshing opening () is sealed with the cover meshing projection () being positioned in a meshing manner in the cover meshing opening ().

Blower housing, especially for a side channel blower

A vehicle heater includes a first housing arrangement (), a second housing arrangement () connected with the first housing arrangement () in an adjoining area (), and at least one sensor () with a holding area (). The holding area () is held in the adjoining area () in a support path between the first housing arrangement () and the second housing arrangement ().

A heat transfer medium assembly unit, especially for a heat exchanger arrangement of a vehicle heater, includes a housing part () with at least one opening () for receiving a connecting branch. At least one flexible fixing element is associated with the at least one opening () for receiving a connecting branch. The at least one flexible fixing element is provided for fixing a connecting branch () mounted in the opening () for receiving a connecting branch for providing a connecting branch/housing part preassembled assembly unit ().

Heat transfer medium connection assembly unit, especially for a heat exchanger arrangement of a vehicle heater

A side channel blower for a vehicle heater includes a blower housing area () with a delivery channel (), which extends in a ring-shaped pattern around a central axis (A) and is open on an axial side (). A motor housing area () integral with the blower housing area () accommodates an electric drive motor () with a drive shaft (). A first delivery wheel covers the delivery channel on a first axial side of the blower housing area and is carried at a first end of the drive shaft. A control device housing area is integral with the blower housing area or/and the motor housing area and is provided with a circumferential wall and with a bottom wall and with an opening located opposite the bottom wall. A partial area of the bottom wall of the control device housing area is formed by the motor housing area.
