A system to configure a conductive pathway and a method of forming a system of configurable conductivity pathways include a photosensitive layer that becomes conductive based on photoexcitation, and a light source layer deposited over the photosensitive layer, the light source layer selectively providing the photoexcitation to the photosensitive layer. The system further includes a controller to control the light source layer, the controller illuminating a portion of the light source layer corresponding with a user input image to photoexcite the photosensitive layer and configure the conductive pathway in the photosensitive layer according to the image.

Integrated photosensitive film and thin LED display

A system to configure a conductive pathway and a method of forming a system of configurable conductivity pathways are described. The system includes a photosensitive layer that becomes conductive based on photoexcitation, and a light source layer deposited over the photosensitive layer, the light source layer selectively providing the photoexcitation to the photosensitive layer. The system further includes a controller to control the light source layer, the controller illuminating a portion of the light source layer corresponding with a user input image to photoexcite the photosentive layer and configure the conductive pathway in the photosensitive layer according to the image.

A system to dynamically configure a conductive pathway and a method of forming a dynamically configurable conductive pathway are described. The system includes a substrate to mechanically support a circuit, and a photosensitive layer disposed on at least a portion of at least one side of the substrate. The system also includes a light source to controllably define the conductive pathway in the photosensitive layer based on photoexcitation of an area of the photosensitive layer corresponding with the conductive pathway, a change in the area photoexcited by the light source facilitating a change in the conductive pathway.

A method of preparing M-N&#x2014;C catalysts utilizing a sacrificial support approach and inexpensive and readily available polymer precursors as the source of nitrogen and carbon is disclosed. Cathode catalysts for fuel cell application derived from polymer precursors

A system to configure a planar microwave circuit, a method of forming a configurable planar microwave circuit, and a microwave circuit are described. The system includes a ground plane and a substrate disposed on the ground plane. The system also includes a photosensitive layer disposed on the substrate. A light source controllably changes a pattern of illumination on the photosensitive layer to controllably configure a transmission line in the photosensitive layer.

Optically reconfigurable RF fabric

A method of dynamically routing a transmission line in a photosensitive layer including optically switching elements and a system to dynamically route a transmission line are described. The method includes determining dimensions of the transmission line based on a radio frequency signal for transmission through the transmission line. The method also includes controlling a light source to illuminate a portion of the optical switching elements of the photosensitive layer according to the dimensions to route the transmission line.
