A method and system for optimizing segregation between human-operated clients and machine-operated clients accessing computing resources are provided. The method comprises receiving, from a client, an authentication request, wherein the authentication request is received in response to a redirect request sent from a remote server to the client; dynamically selecting at least one authentication challenge from a plurality of different authentication challenges; sending the at least one generated authentication challenge to the client; determining whether a notification call is received from the client during a predefined time interval; and upon receiving the notification call during the predefined time interval, confirming that the client passes the authentication challenge, wherein a client that passes the authentication challenge is a human-operated client.

Techniques for optimizing authentication challenges for detection of malicious attacks

A device for use in reducing or preventing the occurrence of restenosis following procedures such as PTCA, in which a stent is used to hold a bodily lumen open. The device comprises a two layered stent, one lying within the other. Both stent layers have an open weave structure, such that they can expand to the correct dimensions after implantation. The outer stent layer is static and grips the inner wall of the lumen in which it is deployed in the usual manner. The inner layer stent is constructed such that it can be vibrated relative to the outer static stent layer. The inner layer stent may be made of a material which can be vibrated from an external source, such as a ferromagnetic material. This vibration prevents restenosis of the treated lumen. Alternatively, a vibrator, such as a piezoelectric device, can be installed on the inner stent layer.

A system for generating a security policy for protecting an application-layer entity. The system comprises a security sitemap generator for generating a security sitemap of a protected application-layer entity, the security sitemap is stored in a first repository connected to the security sitemap generator; and a policy builder for generating a security policy for the application-layer entity based on the security sitemap, the security policy is stored in a second repository connected to the policy builder, wherein the security policy includes a plurality of enforcement rules for at least one of a resource, a group of resources, and a client-side input parameter of at least a portion of the protected application-layer entity.
