A portable dispensing system for administering fluids to livestock (e.g. vaccines, drenches/pour-ons) comprising a pack (1) for fluid materials attached to the operator by a belt. In use, fluid is drawn from the interior of the pack via a dip tube (7) and through a flexible delivery tube (10) by repeated operation of a dispensing syringe or gun (12). The dip tube and delivery tube are coupled via a connector in a draw-off cap (8). When not in use the gun can be attached to the pack by a clip or holster (18).

This invention relates to a device for the constant replenishment of an animal dipping bath, or for use in any situation where it is desired to have a concentrate diluted with a liquid with little or no liquid supply pressure. The device consists of a two-component rocking-pan arrangement 8 and 9 for receiving and discharging the mixture and a metering arrangement for discharging concentrate in the pan. The metering arrangement consists of a double acting single piston and cylinder pump, linked to the pan, and comprises a single piston 22, and a single cylinder partitioned by the piston into 2 chambers, 25 and 26 each chamber being capable of receiving and discharging quantities of concentrate. The arrangement of the pump is such that when one chamber is discharging concentrate into the pan the other is receiving concentrate from the supply line, and concentrate is delivered to that one of the two components which is about to be filled with diluent. The device is particularly useful for sheep-dipping purposes.

A dosing device for fluid which comprises a dip tube extension situated within a dosage cup, the extension being constructed to enable fluid to pass from within said extension into the dosage cup and a dosage determining sleeve slidably engaging a side wall of the extension and movable relative to the extension between positions enabling retention within said cup of a selected dosage volume of fluid and return of any excess fluid into said extension.
