A time and work tracker that automatically collects and analyzes information about time and work performed on a wireless device is described herein. According to the present invention, a time and work tracking function is initiated on a wireless device. Thereafter, a user begins to perform work on the wireless device. As the user works, the tracking function on the wireless device collects data relating to the activities performed by the user. The collected data is then analyzed to determine what types of work the user has actually performed.

A method and system for automatically collecting and for analyzing information about time and work performed on a computer includes a hardware abstraction layer for monitoring activity on various user input devices. The system also includes the following elements: a data collector for monitoring certain portions of a user's computer activity and for logging into a log file those certain portions of a user's computer activity; a data analyzer for determining by following user-defined rules showing which portions of those certain portions of a user's computer activity constitutes continuous work activities, and how this work should be categorized by project and task with project; and an external interface for building the rules defining work. The data collector includes a resident module, such as a TSR (terminate-and-stay-resident) module, which extends the file system of the computer so that detailed records are kept of file activities. The data collector also routes information about file and keyboard activity, and tabulates and writes such information to a user's disk periodically. The hardware abstraction layer is a software module which is interposed between actual physical user input devices and the data collector.

Time and work tracker

A compartmented luggage for separating a travelers belongings and allowing convenient carrying and access. A foldout flap and a plurality of compartments are detachably mounted to an outer shell avoiding mixing of various types of clothing and use outside of cartage. The luggage also has a strap arrangement allowing cartage by handles, shoulder strap or on the user's back. The strap arrangement includes a strap retractor to reel in excess strap material. Strap material can also be used to attach one of the compartments to the outer shell of the luggage. Internal straps and hooks can also be provided to secure the various compartments within the outer shell. If a larger compartment is required, smaller compartments can be removed.

An infant carrier in the shape of a sling having a supporting strap which forms a loop passing over one of the user's shoulders, across the back diagonally, under the other shoulder and being closed over the chest. A cuff shaped and dimensioned to engage and support the user's infant carrying forearm hangs from the strap. A drooling bib attached to the strap covers the shoulder above the infant-carrying forearm. A sitting pad is also provided which can be wrapped around the infant-supporting forearm.
