The invention of this application relates to an infant carrier with carry handle wherein the carry handle is adapted to facilitate easier, more comfortable carrying in the crook of one's elbow and wherein the carry handle is adapted to removably display a printed image or other indicia, such as safety or identification indicia.

A decorative molding is used as a seal around a fixed automobile window, for the purpose of eliminating the squeak caused by rubbing of the molding against the adjacent body during driving. The molding is monolithic and is primarily composed of a flexible elastomeric material such as polyvinyl chloride, co-extruded with a melt-processible rubber that forms an inner body-contacting anti-squeak layer. Optionally, an outer decorative layer of high gloss or colored elastomeric material may be tri-extruded as part of the molding. In a modified form of the invention, flexible members extend from either or both of the window contacting portions of the molding and contact the glass surfaces to improve the gripping thereof.

Anti-squeak molding

A decorative molding strip for automobiles and the like, consisting of a polymeric body member having a stabilizing layer imbedded therein. One surface of the strip is mounted on a portion of an auto, for example, such as a bumper or a side panel, and the opposite surface is exposed and subject to impact from an outside source. The layer is made of a woven fabric, preferably of glass fibers, and allows the surface which has been impacted to recover from indentation, thus preserving the original smooth and unblemished appearance.

Indentation-recoverable molding strip

A decorative molding for automobiles, providing decorative trim therefor. The molding comprises a first member of polymeric material, a portion of the member being wrapped with a decorative covering of metallized plastic material and the remaining portion of the member covered with a second member of similar polymeric material to encapsulate and protect the ends of the covering. The molding is preferably formed by extruding the first member, wrapping the decorative covering in the form of a strip around a portion of the first member, and extruding the encapsulating member around an uncovered portion of the first member. It is also contemplated that a stabilizing strip be incorporated within the first member by feeding it into the extruder which forms the first member.

Decorative molding

A decorative molding for motor vehicles, such as automobiles, for concealing the space between a body panel and an adjacent translucent member such as a window, a windshield, or a lamp cover, and also to minimize leakage of noise, water and dirt. The molding is an elongated polymeric member having a generally cylindrical foam strip which is continuously placed against a portion of the molding and bonded thereto, the strip thus providing a resilient seal for the molding when used between the body panel and the adjacent translucent member.

Decorative molding and method of manufacture

A molding for concealing the edge of an automobile window, such as the rear window or the windshield, and the adjacent body panel, and also providing a seal and closeout for an adjacent access member such as the trunk lid or the hood. The molding is comprised of a first member having a portion composed of a soft polymeric member which retains and conceals an edge of the window, and has a harder integral portion; and a second member which acts as a seal and close-out for the nearer end of the access member. The second member has a harder portion which interengages the harder portion of the first member, and a softer portion which the access member contacts to provide the seal and closeout.

Auto window molding

A molding construction for concealing the edge of a window of an automobile and the adjacent body structure and the space between, comprising outer and inner members. The outer member is made of a polymeric material, and the inner member is made of a softer polymeric material. The inner member is snapped around the edge of the window, and the outer member, which has a smooth continuous surface, is inserted into a portion of the inner member and provides an improved decorative effect. The outer member may be easily inserted or removed for touch-up or repair of the concealed portions.

Molding construction

A laterally bent and longitudinally bendable extrusion product and method of making the same in which a composite metallized strip is encapsulated in a transparent sheath of molten thermoplastic and subsequently fed to a forming zone where it is laterally bent and cooled. The composite metallized strip includes a core of metallized particles sandwiched between and thermoplastically bonded to a transparent plastic substrate and a rigidifying support layer which is constructed and arranged to substantially prevent delamination, discolorization and deformation of the metallized particles.
