A charger includes a charger housing with at least one battery-charging space accessible from the outside for positioning of a rechargeable battery unit, a charging electronics unit in the charger housing for controlling an electrical charging operation for the battery unit positioned on the battery-charging space, and a cooling-air-guiding structure configured for guiding a cooling-air flow from an air inlet structure of the charger housing via the charging electronics unit to an air outlet structure of the charger housing. The cooling-air-guiding structure has a cooling housing arranged in the interior of the charger housing and has a cooling housing air inlet structure and a cooling housing air outlet structure, and is configured for guiding the cooling-air flow through the cooling housing from the cooling housing air inlet structure to the cooling housing air outlet structure and from the latter to the air outlet structure of the charger housing. The charging electronics unit has at least one electronic component which is arranged in the cooling housing. Use may be for electrically charging rechargeable battery packs for electrically operated garden and forestry working apparatus.

Charger having a charging electronics unit and a cooling-air-guiding structure

A charger and charger housing have a water discharge structure. The charger housing includes an operating side, having at least one battery charging space, which is accessible from the operating side, and a first housing outer wall region on a first housing side. The first housing side forms, in a first use position of the charger housing, a bottom side thereof. A water discharge structure discharges water out of the charger housing, wherein the water discharge structure has at least one first water outlet opening in the first housing outer wall region. The charger includes a second housing outer wall region on a second housing side, the second housing side being non-parallel to the first housing side and forming, in a second use position of the charger housing, a bottom side thereof. The water discharge structure has at least one second water outlet opening in the second housing side. Use may be in chargers for electrical charging of battery packs for hand-guided motor-operated tools in gardening and forestry.

A charger housing has an operating side, at least one battery charging port, which is accessible from the operating side, and a first fastening region, on the outer side of the housing, on a first fastening side which is different from the operating side. The first fastening region is designed for detachably fastening the charger housing to a fastening support and has one or more first fastening elements. The charger housing also has a second fastening region, on the outer side of the housing, on a second fastening side which is different from the operating side and the first fastening side. The second fastening region is designed for detachably fastening the charger housing to a fastening support and has one or more second fastening elements. Use may be as a housing of a charger for recharging battery packs for electric gardening and forestry working apparatus.
