The present invention relates generally to methods of use and compositions useful for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, moisturizing skin, promoting hydration, strengthening and repairing skin, reducing inflammation and redness, reducing oxidizing agents, protecting against pollution, reducing skin desquamation, reducing skin roughness, increasing skin lubricity, improving skin barrier function, and firming and conditioning skin. The composition includes a combination of one or more of saccharide isomerate, sodium carrageenan, sea salt, and sodium hyaluronate.

A method for reducing a presence of sebum on skin, reducing an appearance of shiny skin, or reducing an appearance of the size of skin pores, the method comprising topically applying to skin a composition comprising an extract ofshoots,leaf extract, and charcoal, wherein topical application of the composition to the skin reduces the presence of sebum on the skin, reduces the appearance of shiny skin, or reduces the appearance of the size of the skin pores.

The composition includes a combination of one or more of(shea butter), PEG-50 shea butter, glycerin,(sunflower) seed oil,(apricot) kernel oil, acrylates copolymer, sodium lauryl sulfate, lauramidopropyl betaine, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, glycerin, and polyquaternium-7.

The current disclosure relates to a combination of ingredients including(Frangipani) flower extract and salicylic acid. The method can include applying to oxidant damaged skin a topical composition that includes encapsulated resveratrol, oligopeptide-1, and niacinamide, wherein the combination of encapsulated resveratrol, oligopeptide-1, and niacinamide reduces oxidative damage in the skin, and wherein the oligopeptide-1 comprises the sequence of caprooyl-Gly-His-Lys-Lys.
