The invention relates to a heat exchanger for a refrigerant dryer such as a compressed air refrigerant dryer comprising at least one first inflow surface element, past which a fluid to be dried such as compressed air can flow during operation of the heat exchanger, and comprising at least one second inflow surface element, past which a refrigerant fluid can flow as required during operation of the heat exchanger, wherein the first and second inflow surface elements are or can be coupled at least in some areas to at least one cold store chamber that is provided for filling with a cold accumulator medium, and wherein the first and/or second inflow surface element(s) (is) are connected to at least one heat transfer element which extends into the cold store chamber, e.g. penetrates the cold store chamber.

Refrigerant dryer, in particular compressed air refrigerant dryer, and heat exchanger for a refrigerant dryer, in particular a compressed air refrigerant dryer

A refrigerant dryer, in particular a compressed air refrigerant dryer, is provided for drying a gaseous fluid while cooling the gaseous fluid using a refrigerant. The dryer includes a pressure fluid-refrigerant agent-heat exchanger () in which a cooling of the gaseous fluid takes place directly or indirectly by a refrigerant conveyed in a primary loop (), one or more refrigerant compressor/compressors () for operating the primary loop, and a cold accumulator () with an accumulator-side heat exchanger () which couples an accumulator discharge fluid to a cold accumulator medium (). The pressure fluid-refrigerant agent-heat exchanger () and the cold accumulator () are fluidically connected or can be brought into fluidic connection via a discharge loop () for an accumulator discharge fluid. The cold accumulator () is arranged, relative to gravity, above the pressure fluid-refrigerant agent-heat exchanger (), in such a manner that the heated accumulator discharge fluid is conveyed through the discharge loop () for cooling in the cold accumulator (), is cooled there, and subsequently re-conveyed to the pressure fluid-refrigerant agent-heat exchanger ().

Refrigerant dryer

An adsorption drying apparatus, in particular for drying a compressed gas, includes an adsorption chamber () having a plurality of adsorption conduits () containing an adsorption material (), a first feeding line () and a first discharging line () disposed at a first end () of the adsorption chamber (), and a second feeding line () and a second discharging line () disposed at a second end () of the adsorption chamber (). The adsorption chamber () is rotatable with respect to the feeding and discharging lines () so that the adsorption conduits may be fluidically connected in temporal alternation, wherein the gas is dried in a drying sector (), and the adsorption material () is regenerated in the regeneration sector (). The first feeding line () is configured such that the gas stream to be dried may be fed to the regeneration sector () as a full flow.

Adsorption drying apparatus and adsorption drying method

A compressed air filter adapter for connecting a filter element () to a filter connection housing () includes a flow duct () enclosed by a wall () for compressed air, the flow duct () at a first end being delimited by a first opening (), having an inner contour () defined by a first edge () and an outer contour (), and at a second end by a second opening (), having an inner contour () defined by a second edge () and an outer contour (). The first opening () is provided for connection to a filter connection housing () and forms an opening cross-section (), defined by the inner contour () of the first opening (). The second opening () defines an opening on the filter side and forms a second opening cross-section (), defined by the inner contour () of the second opening ().

Adapter for a compressed air filter and use of the same

A compressed air filter and a filter element which is for separating foreign bodies from a compressed air stream and which has an element lower portion, an element upper portion which has a neck portion which forms a first flow channel and a collar portion which is constructed so as to extend at least partially around the neck portion and which is connected to the neck portion so as to form a second flow channel, and a filter medium which is sealingly connected to the element lower portion and the element upper portion in order to form a gas flow path between the first flow channel and the second flow channel through the filter medium, the collar portion having an abutment face, which is provided at least partially at the outer periphery and which tapers in the direction of the element lower portion, in order to receive an associated sealing ring in such a manner that a force which acts substantially axially on the sealing ring from the direction of the element lower portion brings about radial expansion of the sealing ring along the abutment face.

Filter element and compressed air filter for separating foreign matter from a compressed air stream

A low-temperature dryer, especially a compressed air low-temperature dryer, for drying of a gaseous working fluid with cooling of the gaseous working fluid by use of a refrigerant comprises a pre-heat exchanger section () and a main heat exchanger section (), in which the pre-heat exchanger section () and/or the main heat exchanger section () comprises at least one, preferably elongated heat exchanger element. Cooling of the working fluid introduced to the low-temperature dryer occurs here in the pre-heat exchanger section () from the dried and cooled working fluid. Additional cooling of the precooled working fluid passed through the low-temperature dryer occurs in the main heat exchanger section () from the refrigerant, so that moisture is condensed from the working fluid. All flow channels () of the pre-heat exchanger section () and/or the main heat exchanger section () are formed essentially by hollow chamber profiles.
