A method for producing a rotary slide valve for regulating a flow of fluid, including a rotary slide () which is rotatably mounted about a rotational axis (R) in a valve housing, includes producing the rotary slide () by injection molding, producing at least one circumferential or casing section () of the valve housing () by injection molding, and installing the rotary slide () within the valve housing (). A gap between the rotary slide () and the directly adjacent valve housing circumferential or casing section () of the valve housing () in the radial direction, allows the rotary slide () to rotate about the rotational axis (R) and facilitates a seal which does not exceed a tolerable leak between the rotary slide () and the circumferential or casing section () of the valve housing ().

An electromagnetic actuator includes an armature () movable axially relative to a stationary core () as a reaction to energizing of a stationary coil () in an actuator housing (). The armature () is gripped by an axially extended slide () guided in a core passage () of the core such that a movement of the armature in the direction of the core entrains the slide. An end section () of the slide, axially opposite the armature, cooperates with an adjusting partner, the slide having a long rod section () and a disk-type end section () with a widened diameter on the rod section, on the end in the direction of the armature (), the axial extension (W) of the end section determining a minimum distance between the armature and the core in an abutment state of the armature on an end surface and/or front surface of the core, facing the armature.
