A circular knit garment blank is provided. The blank has an internal dimension defined by a series of courses, a length defined by a series of wales, and a first cut line. The length is sufficient to encircle a torso of a wearer. The first cut line is defined in the blank for severing the series of courses along the length.

A pantyhose inspection device comprises a flat panel having two spaced-apart legs extending upwardly from a bifurcation point, a transverse bar positioned between the two legs, a vertical center bar having a plurality of center seam measurement indicators, a vertical, rectangular-shaped cut-out on each side of the center bar, a plurality of panty volume indicators, toe length indicators, a waistband attachment mechanism, and a waistband stretch measurement scale. Such a device allows quick and reliable assessment of gusset placement, center seam straightness and stretch, panty volume, toe length, and waistband stretch in a pantyhose garment using a single device.

Hosiery inspection device and method

A flexible package with a body portion that includes a front, a back, a bottom and two sides. A top portion extends from the front upwardly and rearwardly, ultimately engaging the back in a secured relationship with a latch. A hanger is formed in the end of the top to allow the package to be suspended or hung from a hook or peg.

A package for housing and protecting a folded garment has a back and two front foldable flaps. Each front foldable flap has two foldable sections, and each section has a partial side. A top covers the upper edge of the folded garment and is formed into a downwardly extending tab positioned between the folded garment and the front foldable flaps. A pressure-sensitive hanging element is adhesively attached to the back and extends through an opening in the top garment covering portion to accommodate repeated removal and hanging on a display support member.

A fold package formed of a shell has closing members connected to the shell. One of the closing members and the shell have a slot cut in a portion between the one closing member and the shell. A pressure-sensitive hanging element adapted to be adhesively attached to the shell is provided. When the hanging element is adhesively attached to the shell and the one of the closing members is folded against the shell, the hanging element extends through the slot to facilitate hanging the package.

A method of folding extended and substantially flat hosiery products with paper, with or without an insert, to produce a composite folded hosiery product suitable for packaging. Product and paper are successively folded upon themselves and thereafter positioned within an encompassing envelope, such as a poly bag or cardboard package. The insert may be introduced into the composite folded hosiery product at the first fold if it is desired in the final package.

A fold package formed of a shell which has closing members connected to the shell. One of the closing members has a tab forming an engaging portion and an upper wider portion all cut in and removed from the closing member. The engaging portion is foldable upon itself and moves away from the closing member to form an extending hanging tab. An opening is provided in the tab engaging portion to facilitate hanging the package.
