A 3-dimensional (3D) video rendering device may convert a first left view video of a decompressed 3D video having a first frame rate to generate a second left view video having a second frame rate, and convert a first right view video having the first frame rate to generate a second right view video having the second frame rate. The second left view video having a particular pixel resolution may be converted by the 3D video rendering device to generate a third left view video having full pixel resolution of the decompressed 3D video. The second right view video having the particular pixel resolution may be converted to generate a third right view video having the full pixel resolution. The 3D video rendering device may generate a sequence of video frames for 3D video display based on the third left view video and the third right view video.

Method and system for frame rate conversion of 3D frames

A system on a chip including a bus, a bootup module coupled to the bus and configured to cause the system on a chip to bootup in accordance with a selected security mode, an input module coupled to the bus and configured to receive an input signal and to provide the input signal to the bus, a processor coupled to the bus and configured to process the input signal to provide an intermediate signal, in accordance with a type of content protection associated with the input signal, an encryption module coupled to the bus and configured to cause at least a portion of the intermediate signal to be encrypted to produce an encrypted signal, in accordance with the type of the content protection, and an output module coupled to the bus and configured to output the encrypted signal.

Multimedia content protection

A firmware data processing system may be operable to allocate a configuration area in the firmware binary image file for customizable settings. During the firmware build process for the firmware binary image file, default configuration information may be inserted into this configuration area. This default configuration information may be either actual default setting values or indicator to use the default setting values. During post-build modification process, a separately created utility application may be operable to read in the original firmware binary image file, select new settings, and insert new configuration information into the configuration area. The utility application may also be operable to create a new firmware binary image file with reproduced checksums or other error detection mechanisms required for the original firmware binary image file, based on the new configuration information in the configuration area.
