A fifth-wheel coupling () having a coupling plate () with an entry opening () for a king pin () includes an at least single-part locking device () for fastening the king pin () and a fixing element which engages on the locking device, which fixing element can be moved from a locking position into an open position and vice versa. A securing device () with a blocking element () is provided, which blocking element () can be moved from a rest position into a blocking position and vice versa, wherein the blocking element () projects into the entry opening () at least in the blocking position.

Fifth-wheel coupling

A plug element () for connecting supply lines of an articulated train with at least one line element () including a fluid contact () located in the housing () of said train, that is able to be brought into functional engagement with a second plug element (). The plug element () remains in an operationally safe position without the pre-stressing force of a spring element (). The housing () of the plug element () can be moved laterally relative to a connection socket () that is fixed in space and the cross sectional area (AD, AD) for pressurization of the line element () is configured such that upon impingement with compressed air a force acts in the direction of insertion ().
