An optical instrument () for minimally invasive surgery includes an instrument housing () for receiving optical elements, wherein the instrument housing () is sealed in fluid tight fashion by way of at least one end window () on the distal side and/or proximal side. The end window () is arranged in a window frame () that surrounds the end window () around the entire circumference thereof. The end windows () is able to be attached with little stress in the associated window frame () based on at least two portions () that project radially to the inside from the window frame (). The at least two portions () are formed on the inner circumferential surface of each window frame () facing the respective end window ().

Optical instrument

A medical instrument () comprises an effecting device (), which is movable in a first direction () from a first effecting position into a second effecting position, a pushbutton (), which is movable manually in a second direction () from a first button position into a second button position, and a lever (), which is pivotable about a pivot axis (). The lever () mechanically couples the pushbutton () and the effecting device () in such a way that a movement of the pushbutton () in the second direction () is accompanied by a movement of the effecting device () in the first direction (), which is opposite to the second direction (). The lever () does not have an area that is rotationally symmetrical to the pivot axis () in the region of the pivot axis ().

Microinvasive medical instrument

A coupling mechanism for mechanically connecting a first structural part and a second structural part of a medical instrument includes a first component and a second component, which are designed to be connected to each other by a bayonet connection that permits a rotation of the second component relative to the first component about a rotation axis, and a detent mechanism for alternately locking the second component in several alternative and mutually different predetermined angle positions relative to the first component.

A drying agent arrangement for optical instruments, in particular for endoscopic instruments, having a hygroscopic substance in the instrument housing, such that the hygroscopic substance, configured as individual molded bodies, is positioned in an intake receptacle that can be replaceably inserted in the instrument housing. To provide a drying agent arrangement that, along with simple, versatile application, allows the intake of a great quantity of drying agent, the intake receptacle may be configured as a double-walled sleeve, such that the two walls, forming an intake space for the molded bodies of the hygroscopic substance, are radially distanced from one another and positioned in such a way that the walls, closing the intake space at one axial end of the sleeve, are connected with one another at the end and on the other axial end of the sleeve, releasing the intake space, are radially distanced from one another at the end.
