Allocating streaming content on a hybrid network can include searching for streaming content broadcast via broadcast signals over a broadcast network as a communications device is receiving the streaming content via a cellular network. Responsive to identifying, based on the searching, a within-range broadcast source broadcasting the streaming content via broadcast signals, the communications device can begin receiving the streaming content via the broadcast signals over the broadcast network and cease receiving the streaming content via the cellular network.

Allocating streaming content on a hybrid network

Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The method computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: transmitting, during a media streaming session, streaming media to a user equipment (UE) device of a user, the transmitting streaming media including simultaneously transmitting a first media stream and a second media stream to the UE device; subjecting the first media stream to processing by natural language processing to provide a topic extracted from the first media stream; subjecting the second media stream to processing by natural language processing to provide an extracted topic extracted from the second media stream; identifying a match between the topic and the extracted topic; and providing one or more output in response to the identifying the match between the topic and the extracted topic.

Media stream network action decisions

An example operation may include one or more of receiving a request for access to data of a user, the request comprising an identification of a requestor and an identification of the data, determining, via a cognitive engine, whether or not to provide access to the data of the user based on context associated with the user, in response to determining to provide access to the data of the user, invoking chaincode which retrieves access to the data of the user from a blockchain and provides the requestor with access to the data of the user, and storing a result of the determination by the cognitive engine via the blockchain.

Cognitive system for managing consent to user data

An example operation may include one or more of storing state information of a system component via a data block included among a hash-linked chain of data blocks of a blockchain, the state information identifying operating features of the system component at a first point in time, receiving, from the system component, re-computed state information of the system component captured at a second point in time that is subsequent to the first point in time, determining an integrity of the system component based on the re-computed state information and the previously stored state information of the system component stored among the hash-linked chain of data blocks, and transmitting information about the determined integrity to a computing system associated with the system component.

Security platform for multi-component system and services thereof

A method includes: receiving information from a source; determining a situational context for usage of UE devices in a specific area based on the received information, the UE devices communicating over a communication network and utilizing bandwidth of the communication network; predicting a location of the UE devices, the predicting being based on the received information and the determined situational context; predicting a bandwidth usage of the UE devices at the predicted location; predicting that a current bandwidth of the communications network is insufficient to provide the predicted bandwidth usage to the UE devices, the predicting that the current bandwidth is insufficient being based on the received information and the determined situational context; and deploying an aerial device that provides additional bandwidth to the communication network, the additional bandwidth being provided at the predicted location of the UE devices.

Context aware network capacity augmentation using a flying device

An approach is provided for controlling content delivery. Stream data and associated metadata are received from one or more sources. The stream data is converted into a text format. The converted stream data is processed in an artificial intelligence system to detect emotions of the stream data. The emotions of the stream data are mapped to a set of rules for a geographic area. Unacceptable content in the stream data is identified based on the emotions and the set of rules for the geographic area. Content delivery servers are notified to discard the unacceptable content so that the unacceptable content is not delivered through content distribution channels and is not viewed by an end user.

Controlling content delivery

Migrating and delivering data content to a traveling user is provided. A pattern of data access corresponding to a user is determined. The pattern of data access includes previous data access requests made by the user and data to-be delivered to the user. A travel plan corresponding to the user is determined. The travel plan includes a set of intermediate data delivery destinations based on travel mode, travel route, travel schedule, and geographic locations of stops corresponding to the set of intermediate data delivery destinations. The data content is migrated to a set of data storage locations as the user travels based on the pattern of data access, the travel plan, and the set of intermediate data delivery destinations along the travel route. The data content is delivered to the user at geographic locations corresponding to the set of data storage locations as the user travels.

Location-aware intelligent data migration and delivery

The present disclosure uses data analytics for consumer focused autonomous data delivery in a 5G (fifth generation cellular network technology) telecommunications network. Data usage information is received at a control system, and the data usage information includes information about data downloaded by users at a venue. The data usage information includes content information about the data downloaded, the data being downloaded using a 5G telecommunications network. The data usage information is analyzed to determine content delivery using a service orchestration layer of a 5G telecommunications network in concert with smart channel monitoring tools of compatible platforms. A predictive analysis is generated using the analysis of the data usage information. A data action is initiated pertaining to the content for downloading the content, based on the predictive analysis, before demand for the downloading of the content, to provide faster service to end users at the venue.

Using data analytics for consumer-focused autonomous data delivery in telecommunications networks

A self-learning 5G cognitive emergency-management system responds to a triggering condition by instructing a network to open an ad hoc channel to Internet of Things (IoT) devices associated with a mass assembly of users. The system begins tracking the movements of the assembly members by performing trilateration procedures on each user's IoT device. Using artificial intelligence or cognitive analytics, the system identifies and correlates patterns in the aggregated movements of the assembly with other tracked parameters received from the IoT devices and with contextual information retrieved from extrinsic sources. The system infers aggregated user sentiment from these correlations and determines whether the movements or sentiment suggest that an unexpected event is having an adverse impact on the assembly. If so, the system takes corrective action, such as notifying an emergency-management resource or transmitting information or instructions to the assembly members.

Cognitive emergency management on a 5G telecom network

An approach is provided for cognitive control of channel bandwidth. Devices connected to access point(s) of a network are detected. Locations of the devices are detected. Based on (i) the devices being connected to the access point(s) and (ii) the locations of the devices, a gathering of people is detected as a group of users who are operating the detected devices at a current time within a geographical area that includes the locations of the devices. Data access patterns of the devices are detected. Based on the detected data access patterns and the gathering of people being detected, a quality of service class identifier (QCI) is updated from a normal setting to a new setting to satisfy bandwidth requirements of the devices.

Cognitively controlling data delivery

A system and method is provided to implement charging models for subscriber driven media agnostic content delivery across same or different networks. The method includes receiving content of a first media type over a network from a sending client. The method further includes sending the content or a reference to the content to a receiving client in a preferred media type and to a preferred device in accordance with at least one preference of the receiving client. The method also includes generating a billing record based on the content and user preferences of a sending client and/or a receiving client.

Dynamic, subscriber driven charging models for media distribution

In an approach for delivering customized messages, a computer receives a request to initiate a communication, wherein the request includes a caller and at least one recipient. The computer determines an identifier associated with the caller and an identifier associated with the at least one recipient from the received request. The computer identifies the caller and the at least one recipient based on the corresponding determined identifiers. The computer retrieves data associated with the identified caller and the identified at least one recipient, wherein the data includes personal information, Internet browsing trends, and listening preferences. The computer determines customized messages for the identified caller and the identified at least one recipient based on the retrieved data associated with the identified caller and the at least one recipient. The computer delivers the determined customized messages to one or more of the identified caller and the identified at least one recipient.

Determining customized audio services

A system and method is provided to facilitate subscriber driven media agnostic content delivery across same or different networks. The method includes receiving preferences from a sending client and a receiving client and receiving content of a first media type over a network. The method further includes sending the content or a reference to the content to the receiving client in a preferred media type and to a preferred device in accordance with at least one preference of the receiving client. The method also includes notifying at least the receiving client that the content is to be received by the preferred device.
