Systems and methods for implementing fixed-layout display components embedded as part of a screen display of a device. In preferred embodiments, fixed-layout components may be utilized and managed independently of the remaining programmatically generated screen display functionality. A fixed-layout component may comprise a plurality of elements and be associated with user interactivities. Each element may be related positionally, dimensionally and display sequence to an overall component and to other elements comprised such that a computed relative position, size and dimension aspect ratio of component items and the item display sequence is maintained programmatically and visually relative to each other irrespective of a screen size or orientation when the fixed-layout component is part of an overall display of a device. The fixed-layout elements may further be operable to display dynamic data which may be logically associated with data comprised within the overall fixed-layout component.

A method includes identifying one or more processes presented on a display of a given client device and determining a complexity of at least a given one of the one or more processes, wherein determining the complexity of the given process comprises determining a number of tasks of the given process. The method also includes generating a given visual indicator of the complexity of the given process, the given visual indicator comprising a shape with a number of features based on the number of tasks of the given process. The method further includes providing the given visual indicator for presentation on the display of the given client device in association with the given process. The given visual indicator may further comprise at least one of a color blend and a pattern blend, the color or pattern blend being based on colors or patterns associated with tasks of the given process.

The disclosed systems and methods relate to the creation and use of fixed-layout display component(s) embedded as part of the overall programmatic device(s) screen display(s). Systems and methods for intelligent layered interactive programmatic elements for fixed content

A candle holder comprising a body having a mouth, a base and sides that connect the mouth to the base is provided. The mouth comprises an opening arranged to receive a candle and at least a portion of the sides taper inwardly from the mouth towards the base. The inward most point of the tapered portion of the sides defines an aperture having a size which is less than that of the widest part of the candle. Also provided are a candle and a candle stand having a catching device for use with the candle holder. In use, wax and waste material from the candle pass through the aperture of the candle holder into the catching device. Thus, the candle holder can be reused repeatedly without the need for cleaning or replacement of the candle holder.

An eVault system securely stores personal data and documents for citizens and allows controlled access by citizens and optionally by service providers. The eVault may be adapted to allow processes involving the documents to be carried out in a secure and paperless fashion. Documents are certified, and biometric matching is used for security. On effecting a match with a biometric identifier presented by a user, the user is allowed access to his personal eVault and to access a personal cryptographic key stored therein. One or more of these personal keys may be securely applied within the eVault to generate an electronic signature, amongst other functions.

Candle holder

A storage unit comprises a housing defining a storage chamber and a plurality of specimen carriers in the form of annular shelves disposed one below the other inside the chamber. A rotary drive is operatively connected to the carriers for rotating the carriers independently about a vertical axis. The housing is provided with an access opening for enabling access to the chamber from above the carrier, while an insertion and removal mechanism serves to alternately insert and remove specimens from the chamber via the access opening. The insertion and removal mechanism includes a lifting device disposed at least partially inside the storage chamber for moving specimens vertically between the access opening and the respective carriers. Specimen-containing vials are disposed on trays which in turn are supported by the carriers. The lifting mechanism operates to lift entire trays from the respective carriers towards the access opening.
