An accessory attachment system for a power tool having an elongated housing with a nose portion, an output shaft to which a cutting blade that oscillates through a small angle is attached, the attachment comprising, an accessory interface removably mounted to the nose portion of the housing and a depth guide attachment rotatably mounted to the accessory interface, the depth guide attachment further comprising a relatively thin body portion having a generally circular first opening with a center axis generally parallel to the output shaft, the body portion fitting on the accessory interface and being rotatable thereon and having a second circular opening transverse to the first opening center axis, a depth guide member adjustably mounted on the body portion and having an offset outer end portion, and a locking member configured to secure the depth guide member in a desired position.

An accessory for a power tool, includes a mounting portion configured to mate with an oscillating drive member of a power tool. A support arm portion extends from the mounting portion in a first direction. The support arm portion includes an inner edge that faces in a second direction transverse to the first direction. A blade portion extends from the support arm generally in the second direction. The blade portion includes a trailing edge arranged facing generally toward the mounting portion and a leading edge arranged facing generally away from the mounting portion. The trailing edge and the leading edge portion meet to define a pointed tip portion.

A guide attachment for a rotary hand tool is disclosed that comprises a housing, an adapter and a removable base. The attachment is configured to remove grout from between adjacent tiles, such as floor or wall tiles. The housing of the preferred embodiment is configured to permit a tool bit to engage a work surface at the normal intersection of two planes. The removable base of the preferred embodiment permits the attachment to work on flat surfaces. The base is also reversible and contains multiple sets of guide points for guiding the tool bit along grooves that have different widths. The preferred embodiment can also include a vacuum adapter that is attachable to the housing and allows a vacuum hose to be coupled to the guide attachment for removing debris during operation. The configuration of the housing or locking mechanism accommodates adapters having different circumferences.
