A cable assembly includes a housing having a mating end and a cable end and receives a cable through the cable end. The housing has a mounting block proximate to the cable end. A ferrule is configured to be terminated to the cable. The ferrule has an inner bushing and an outer bushing, with the inner and outer bushings cooperating to capture a cable braid of the cable therebetween. The ferrule is retained within the mounting block such that the ferrule is housed interior of the housing.

Cable assembly

A guide frame is provided for receiving a pluggable module having guide members that include upper and lower surfaces. The guide frame includes side segments extending lengths from loading ends to mating ends. The side segments are spaced apart from each other to define a receptacle extending therebetween. The receptacle is configured to receive the pluggable module therein. The side segments include upper and lower guide rails for guiding the pluggable module within the receptacle. The upper and lower guide rails are configured to engage the upper and lower surfaces, respectively, of the guide members of the pluggable module when the pluggable module is received within the receptacle. The guide frame also includes a cross member extending from, and interconnecting, the side segments.

A latch assembly for a pluggable electronic module matable with a receptacle assembly includes a lever actuatable between a latched position and an unlatched position, a yoke assembly operatively coupled to the lever, and a latch element coupled to the latch end of the yoke assembly. The yoke assembly has a latch end rotatable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The latch element is movable between an engaged position and an unengaged position as the latch end is rotated between the latched and unlatched positions, respectively. The latch element is configured to engage the receptacle assembly to lock the pluggable electronic module within the receptacle assembly when the latch element is in the engaged position.

A latch includes a body extending a length between a latch end portion and a spring end portion that is opposite the latch end portion. The body includes a latch portion that includes the latch end portion, a spring portion that includes the spring end portion, and a central longitudinal axis extending along the length of the body. The latch portion includes a latch element. The latch portion is stiffer than at least a portion of the spring portion with respect to bending along the central longitudinal axis.
