A container includes a base and a wall disposed about and attached to the base. The wall defines a rim spaced from the base, as well as a compartment extending between the base and the wall. A lid having an inner surface and an outer surface is coupled to the wall for covering the compartment. The container has a diverter bar for separating the compartment into at least two sections in a first position. The diverter bar has a body that extends between body ends, with the body releasably engaging the wall in the first position. A retainer attaches to the lid for receiving the diverter bar and securing the diverter bar to the lid to define a storage position. A lip extends outwardly from the body whereby the lip engages the retainer in response to the diverter bar being in the storage position.

A detachable transmission shift lever theft deterrent arrangement is provided that includes a transmission shift stub accessible from a vehicle interior. A detachable shift lever is provided and arranged to slideably engage the transmission shift stub. A locking mechanism is positioned on the shift lever and arranged to engage the shift stub. A security system including a transponder is positioned on the shift lever, and the transponder is arranged to receive power from an antenna positioned on the shift stub and send a unique signal back to the antenna upon positioning the shift lever within a predetermined range of the antenna. A vehicle ignition system is then enabled when the antenna receives the unique signal from the transponder.

Detachable transmission shift lever arrangement

A snap connector for coupling a convertible boot arm to a quarter trim panel including an edge flange. According to an example embodiment, the snap connector includes a substantially C-shaped element coupled to the convertible boot arm that is adapted to snap fit over the edge flange of the quarter trim panel. The snap connector may include a flexible detent element that may distend over the edge flange during an installation of the snap connector over the edge flange, and upon installation, may extend over the flange to removably adjoin the snap connector to the edge flange.

An apparatus for removing a fastener includes a main body portion. The fastener secures a first panel and a second panel and includes a retaining portion extending substantially through an aperture in the second panel. The retaining portion has a pair of resilient legs. Each resilient leg has a free end. The main body portion of the apparatus defines a slot. The slot has a open end and a closed end. The slot preferably tapers from the open end to the closed end. The slot is adapted to compress the free ends of the resilient legs together in response to translation of the fastener from the open end toward the closed end.
