An apparatus to facilitate lifting and carrying wire handled buckets has a lifting harness and a lifting tray. The lifting harness includes a grip and a connector. The connector connects the grip to the lifting tray. The grip is tubular and comfortable to grasp. The lifting tray is semi-circular in shape and has a notch on one end and is attached to the connector at the other end. In one embodiment, the connector is a cable and is attached with crimp sleeve to the grip and a spherical fitting to the lifting tray. Both the grip and the lifting tray are made of plastic. A method of carrying wire handled buckets includes placing the bucket handle in the lifting tray and holding the lifting tray with one hand and grasping the grip in the other hand to allow both sides of the body to directly engage the bucket's weight.

A sealable covering for a vehicle includes a pliable base including walls, and a plurality of panels that are either attached to the walls or attachable to the walls. The walls and panels have an inner facing side configured to face an interior of the covering, and an outer facing side configured to face away from the interior. The inner facing side includes a first pocket for containing padding material. Either the inner facing side or the outer facing side includes a second pocket for receiving a piece of protective material, and the first pocket and the second pocket overlap each other. A connector at an edge of each panel connects the plurality of panels to form, with the base, an enclosure that completely encloses and seals the vehicle within the covering. The enclosure protects the vehicle from both water damage and the impact of floating or flying debris.

An integrated mobile phone case and charger for providing both a protective casing for a mobile device which includes an integrated solar cell for charging the battery of the mobile device therein comprises a case body defined by a front piece and a back piece, with the back piece including solar cells, electrical wiring, and a charging port. The front piece and back piece are configured to releasable attached to each other to form an enclosure in which a mobile phone or other mobile device is placed and secured. The solar cells electricity to be generated to be supplied to the battery of a mobile device disposed in the integrated mobile phone case and charger. A thermoelectric cooler and an electronics control unit may additionally be included in the case body to enable selective charging and cooling of a mobile device with the generated electricity.

Downhole stimulation devices include an energetic material disposed within a housing and an initiator for igniting the energetic material. The initiator may comprise a shaped charge configured to produce a projectile to penetrate the energetic material to ignite the energetic material. The housing of the device may comprise a continuous outer surface. Methods of operating a downhole stimulation device include initiating an energetic material disposed within a housing of the stimulation device in order to burn the energetic material in a laterally extending direction transverse to a depth of a borehole in which the stimulation device is disposed.

A retractable shelter is provided for use with a slideout compartment of a recreational vehicle. The retractable shelter includes a sheet of flexible material capable of being rolled up into a retracted position; and a storage compartment capable of storing the sheet of flexible material rolled up into the retracted position. The storage compartment is attachable along and near a bottom edge of a slideout compartment of a recreational vehicle. Doors can also be attached to the extended sheet of flexible material underneath the slideout compartment. The sheet of flexible material can also be extended in a horizontal direction to support poles.

Walking cane base

A mobility device to provide ambulatory support includes a tubular body having upper and lower parts. The upper part has at least four, and preferably five, bends and includes a manually graspable handle portion between two of the bends, and a hook-shaped bend for engaging the user's forearm on three sides adjacent the elbow. An intermediate portion including another bend is positioned between two other bends, and is positioned between the handle portion and the bend located adjacent the user's elbow. The lower part includes a floor-engaging free end and defines an axis, preferably a generally vertical axis. The bends and other features of the upper part cooperate to provide improved support for a user's forearm. Also disclosed is a rocker-type end member either fixedly or slidably fitted to the lower part.

Mobility device

A disengageable self-locking pivotal bracket device with a body member having a first and second surface. The device includes an axial/fastener and disengageable locking element for pivotally and releaseably locking the device into and out of at least one engaged position. The present invention can be used as foldable, pivotal connecting element that can connect two member; for example a fishnet and handle, or two sections of a cane.

An improved unitary molded foldable changer is provided for garments and the like. The hanger incorporates a pair of garment supporting arms which articulate between an outwardly extended opposed relationship and a lowered adjacent relationship about a hinge positioned between bottom portions of each arm shoulder. An upwardly arcuate elongated link is interconnected at each of its respective opposite ends through a hinge to a different respective one of the arm shoulder top portions which are in longitudinally spaced relationship to one another. The link further includes a mid-location hinge, and a latch assembly for cross connection, and an integral hook for engagement with a closet bar or the like. The link is so configured that, when the arms are in the extended and garment supporting position, the hook is suitably oriented and the latch assembly is engaged to lock the arms in the extended position. When the arms are in the collapsed position, a detent member on each underside of each arm is engagable with the other to lock the arms together for transport or storage purposes. The hanger can be opened or closed using one hand.

The present invention relates to a utility handle for lifting, lowering, supporting and maneuvering articles. The device comprises a generally S-shaped handle including a front portion that is engageable with the article and a handgrip member to be grasped by the hand of the user and further including a rear portion that is engageable with the forearm of the user. The utility handle substantially transfers the load of any attached article from the user's wrist to his forearm, and through the elbow joint, to the user's upper arm muscles to facilitate handling of the article.

A collapsible clothes hanger molded in one piece of a flexible material has a pair of hanger arms which are moved from a collapsed position to an extended position by one hand exerting s squeezing force on the flexible connections between the pair of hanger arms and a pair of flexible links that extend between the hanger arms and a center support member. The bendable links, whose motion is restricted by the center support member, fold upon themselves and draw the hanger arms upward into the extended position. The squeezing force which moves the hanger arms into the extended position lies in a horizontal plane so that the hand of the user can remain in a natural position during extension of the arms to a desired garment-supporting position. The hanger of a preferred embodiment is automatically locked in the extended position once this position is reached. The lock is released by again a single hand exerting a squeezing force, also in a horizontal plane, so that the hanger arms may move the collapsed position. The hanger arms, flexible links, and center support member are connected to one another by hinges. The locking mechanism of the preferred embodiments includes a push button release and extends from each of the hanger arms between the hinge connected to the center support member and the hinge connected to the flexible links.

An alarm clock in the shape of an animal standing atop a base includes a clock mechanism and a sound generating circuit connected to the clock mechanism to produce an alarm sound characteristic of the animal represented by the shape of the alarm clock. That body part of the represented animal from which the novel alarm sound is popularly believed to emanate is manually manipulated to cancel and reset the alarm sound.

A raised grip shovel has the handlebar with the back grip at one end and a front grip being raised to a level of the back grip during a shovel operation. Such elevation of the front grip can be achieved by curvilinear shape of the handlebar or by various support elements. A front grip position can be adjusted in accordance with a person's particular height, arm length and physical conditions. The angular and spacial relocation of the front grip straightens the posture and increases the digging thrust. The change of the posture alleviates the back stress by shifting the load to the legs and lower back muscles which are significantly stronger than muscles of the upper body.
