The multi-directional lighting fixture includes a lighting fixture having a substantially elongated opaque housing with first and second ends with an open top for emitting light in an upward direction and a longitudinal slot along the bottom surface of the housing extending between the first and second ends. The longitudinal slot includes a shielding material, such as a louver or cover, with a predetermined degree of light translucence. The housing has a substantially elliptical cross section tapering towards one end of the housing. The ends of the housing have elliptical translucent members that can transmit lighting horizontally and radially outward from the interior of the housing. Two or more housings can be coupled together in series.

Dry powder inhalers with a multi-dose dry powder package for dispensing pharmaceutical grade formulations of inhalable dry powder, include: (a) a blister package comprising a plurality of spaced apart sealed blisters thereon, each blister having a projecting ceiling and a floor defining a blister channel therebetween, the blister channel comprising a dry powder therein; (b) a movable blade cartridge holding a blade at a forward portion thereof; and (c) an extendable mouthpiece attached to the movable blade cartridge. In operation, a user pulls the mouthpiece outward and then pushes the mouthpiece inward to cause the blister package to advance to position a blister in a selected dispensing position in the inhaler and to cause the blade cartridge to move the blade across a blister ceiling held in the dispensing position in the inhaler to thereby open the blister held in the dispensing position.

Dry powder blister packages include sealed blisters with a piezoelectric active layer that flexes to vibrate the dry powder in a blister to facilitate active dispersion.

An adjustable storage rack for a document processor in which a plurality of document receiving slots are each associated and aligned with one of the sorter pockets when the rack is secured to the document processor frame. Advantageously, the securing occurs through a pivoting hinge, allowing the rack to be supported in one of a plurality of defined positions.
