Unit for fastening a component of a vehicle

In a method of assembling a component by means of a fastening clip (), the fastening clip () comprising a latching portion () and a head element (), the head element () is transferred from a preliminary mounting position to a final mounting position for assembling the component. An enabling element () is provided which is transferred from a first position in which a machine-readable code () applied on the fastening clip () can not be read, to a second position in which the code () can be read, when the head element () is transferred to the final mounting position.

A holding dowel () for fastening a fastening means to a component (), in particular to a vehicle body part, is adapted to be inserted into and arrested in an opening () of the component () and has a mount () for the fastening means. The holding dowel () has a base body () made from a hard material, which protrudes into the opening () and is adapted to fix the holding dowel () in place in the opening (), and further has a sealing member () made from a flexible plastic material, which includes a surrounding sealing lip (). In the installed condition of the holding dowel (), the sealing lip () rests against the component () and seals the opening () of the component (). The sealing member () is produced at least partly from a material which under the influence of heat establishes a substance-to-substance bond with the component ().

An air vent for a ventilation system in a vehicle is disclosed that has an air circulation chamber () defined by a housing () that has a generally bulged shape. An inflow duct () is connected to this housing and opens into the circulation chamber (), the housing having a perforated wall area (). An air stream, in use, enters the circulation chamber () through inflow duct (), circulates through the air circulation chamber and exits through the perforated wall area. The air vent further comprises a movable air deflection member disposed to deflect the air stream transversely to an axial direction of the inflow duct.

An air vent, especially for vehicle air-conditioning, comprises a frame, a plurality of vanes that are pivotally arranged around a first axis, and at least one coupling element with which each of the vanes is coupled. The coupling element is capable of being adjusted relative to the first axis between a neutral position in which the vanes are parallel to each other, and a comfort position in which at least some of the vanes are swiveled in directions opposite each other.

The invention relates to an air diffusor, in particular for vehicle air-conditioning, the air diffusor comprising a housing, a plurality of vanes of which each is pivotally mounted, and an adjustment element by means of which an orientation of the vanes can be adjusted. A first coupling element is provided with which each vane is coupled so as to be rotatable about a first swiveling axle. The first coupling element is supported on the housing so as to slide in a sliding guide, and a second swiveling axle is provided on each vane.
