A computer-implemented technique is described herein for removing sensitive content from documents in a manner that preserves the usefulness of the documents for subsequent analysis. For instance, the technique obscures sensitive content in the documents, while retaining meaningful information in the documents for subsequent processing by a machine-learning engine or other machine-implemented analysis mechanisms. According to one illustrative aspect, the technique removes sensitive content from documents using a modification strategy that is chosen based on one or more selection factors. One selection factor pertains to the nature of the processing that is to be performed on the documents after they have been anonymized.

Removing sensitive content from documents while preserving their usefulness for subsequent processing

Provisioning of digital asset management is provided. A service such as a management service retrieves digital assets from external resources in response to a search of the external resources. The digital assets are classified to asset categories, which are used to match the digital assets to suggested actions to dispose of the digital assets in case of an incapacitation of the asset owner. The digital assets, the asset categories, suggested trigger events, or the suggested actions are transmitted to an asset manager to prompt the asset manager customize the digital assets, the asset categories, suggested trigger events, or the suggested actions. A workflow is created from the digital assets, the asset categories, the suggested trigger events, and the suggested actions to dispose of the digital assets in case of the incapacitation of the asset owner.

Provisioning in digital asset management

Digital asset management with disposition actions based on trigger events are provided. A management service transmits actions to an asset manager to prompt the asset manager to customize the actions. The actions include operations to dispose of digital assets of an asset owner based on a detection of a trigger event. The management service detects a customization and/or a selection of a subset of the actions by the asset manager and monitors the digital assets to detect the trigger event. Once the management service detects the trigger event, the management service executes the subset of the actions to dispose of the digital assets.

Disposition actions in digital asset management based on trigger events

Ongoing management for pre-planned handling of digital presence is provided. A service such as a management service monitors continuously monitors digital assets of an asset owner hosted at external resources. A change to the digital assets retrieved from the external resources is analyzed in response to a detection of the change. The change is processed to reclassify the digital assets into asset categories. The digital assets and the asset categories are matched to suggested actions and suggested trigger events. The suggested actions include operations to dispose of the digital assets in case of an incapacitation of the asset owner. A notification is transmitted to an asset manager to prompt the asset manager to review the updates to the digital assets, the asset categories, the suggested actions, and the suggested trigger events.

A current user context for the device is identified, and based on the aggregated usage data and the current user context an enhanced user interface is generated.

Various embodiments of a method described herein can include receiving source color content that is associated with a source device, and transforming the source color content into destination color content for rendering on one or more destination devices. Various embodiments of an apparatus described herein can include a color infrastructure transformation engine that further includes a sequential transform component, which is adapted to receive source color content and to create a transform to facilitate mapping the source color content to destination color content. The color infrastructure transformation engine can also include a transform optimization component that is adapted to receive the transform and to create an optimized transform table based on the transform, and a transform execution component that is adapted to receive the optimized transform table and to generate the destination color content based thereon.

Multimedia color management system

Methods for mapping color data having at least one color associated therewith to an output device based on an input-device profile and an output-device profile, each profile having a tone curve and a color matrix, are provided. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving color data from an input device and determining whether the color data is in a linear space. If it is determined that the color data is not in a linear space, the method further includes applying the tone curve of the input device profile to the color data to convert it into a linear space. The method further includes converting the color(s) associated with the color data from the input linear space to an output linear space by applying the color matrix of the input device profile and the inverse color matrix of the output device profile to create color-converted image data.

Two or more of the legal notices generated by the authoring application may be deployed in the web page or in a second web page. The legal notices may be selectively presented to the client user via the web browser in accordance with the notification setting.

A method of preserving individual information privacy for each of a plurality of customers while providing aggregated information about the plurality of customers includes storing static customer data and dynamic customer data of the plurality of customers in a protected database. The method includes restricting shared access to the static customer data and the dynamic customer data to a set of approved privacy-preserving queries. The privacy preserving queries include a privacy-preserving aggregation query that uses one or more parameters to indicate a characteristic of interest for which aggregation of the static customer data and the dynamic customer data is requested. The privacy-preserving aggregation query may be configured to retrieve aggregated customer data related to the characteristic of interest. The aggregated customer data may be returned in response to the privacy-preserving aggregation query not including any personally identifiable information of any particular one of the plurality of customers.

Preserving individual information privacy by providing anonymized customer data

Various embodiments provide for gamut mapping spectral content. Source appearance content is created from source spectral data corresponding to a source color image. The source appearance content is mapped to an appearance delta using a gamut mapping algorithm. Destination spectral data is derived from the source spectral data and the appearance delta by way of a spectral mapping algorithm. The appearance delta corresponds to two potentially different gamuts or color spaces. Humanly perceptible differences in the color appearance of a destination image as compared the source image are reduced by the mapping techniques provided herein.

Various embodiments described above provide a user interface system that can expose end users and others to color management information in an easy-to-understand manner. In one or more embodiments, the user interface system can provide information that allows the user to easily ascertain whether a device, component or application is color managed, and the status of the device, component or application. Further, the user interface system can enable the user to access links that provide additional information and/or diagnostic help in the event a color management issue is identified.
