A computer-implemented method includes obtaining field data for a field that was generated prior to an agricultural harvesting machine operating on the field, the field data representing an estimated yield, obtaining yield data, that is georeferenced to the field, based on a signal from a yield sensor on the agricultural harvesting machine, applying a flow model to the yield data to generate a yield map, the flow model having a set of parameters that models material flow through a harvesting system of the agricultural harvesting machine, obtaining an adjusted set of parameters based on a correlation between the yield map and the estimated yield, modifying the yield map based on the adjusted set of parameters, and generating a control signal based on the modified yield map.

A spine is configured to support and protect a cable harness. The spine includes a plurality of segments arranged along an axis. Each segment includes a first and second housing parts which can be closed to form a passageway or can be opened to expose cavities within each housing part. Various voting systems are disclosed that include a voting device configured to: provide a user interface that presents one or more voting choices for each of one or more contests and enables a voter to select one or more of the voting choices for each of the one or more contests; create a bitmap comprising a plurality of bit cells each of which corresponds to one of the voting choices of one of the contests, wherein each of the bit cells stores a binary digit that indicates whether the voter selected the voting choice corresponding to the bit cell; convert the binary digits stored in the bitmap to a compressed string of characters; generate one or more selection barcodes that encode the compressed string of characters; and print the one or more selection barcodes on a paper medium to create a paper ballot. The voting systems also include a ballot tabulation device configured to: read the one or more selection barcodes printed on the paper ballot to decode the compressed string of characters; convert the compressed string of characters to binary digits; analyze the binary digits to determine the selected voting choices; and store the selected voting choices in a cast vote record for the paper ballot. Various voting methods that utilize encoding schemas for compressing voting selection data are also disclosed.

A light fixture includes a housing, a recessed channel, a light-emitting element, and a lens positioned over the light-emitting element. The housing includes a mounting surface. The recessed channel includes a bottom and a pair of side walls extending along the length of the mounting surface. The light-emitting element is coupled to the bottom of the recessed channel. The lens is positioned over the light-emitting element and removably retained between the pair of side walls.

The second shopping keyboard includes third keys that represent purchasable items (a product and/or service). When selected, the sharing option supplies information about the particular item to a messaging application that communicates the information to a second mobile device. A valve has a housing defining an inlet and an outlet and a cavity therebetween which receives a valve seat. The valve seat defines a slot which receives a gate. The valve seat is sealingly engaged with the housing, the gate sealingly engages the valve seat and is movable within the slot between an open and a closed position using an actuator. An opening in the housing provides access to the cavity. The valve seat may be removed from the housing through the opening by attaching the valve seat to the gate, thereby attaching the valve seat to the actuator, and withdrawing the gate from the housing using the actuator.

A brake assembly for a conveyor system includes a first bracket, a second bracket and a brake member. The first bracket is configured to receive a channel of the conveyor system. The second bracket is spaced from the first bracket and configured to receive the channel of the conveyor system. The brake member is pivotally connected to the second bracket. A pivot axis about which the brake member is configured to pivot is disposed outwardly of the second bracket. A biasing member is configured to bias the brake member inwardly.

A retractable broom comprises a handle section and a broom head section. The handle section includes a retractable handle with one or more movable locking joints including locking mechanisms that are configured to connect and interlock the sections of the retractable handle together. An arm, including a stationary locking joint, having a locking mechanism, at one end of the arm connects and interlocks the retractable handle to the arm. The other end of the arm is fixedly attached to a brush head. The broom head section also comprises a retractable cover and third locking joint with a locking mechanism that connects and interlocks the retractable cover to the arm at two or more positions, with at least one position causing the retractable cover fully cover the brush head and a second position causing the retractable cover to at least partial uncover the brush head.

A bone plate system is provided. The system includes two or more fastener locks stacked on top of each other and located between two holes in a plate adapted to receive bone fasteners. An actuator is provided between the locks. As the actuator is advanced, the locks are moved sequentially into position, firstly, to prevent one or more bone fasteners from backing out of the plate while permitting the fasteners to angulate and, secondly, to lock the angulation of the bone fasteners while still providing back out protection in situ. An expandable bone plate having a top plate interconnected to a bottom plate by a rack and pinion is provided. The rotation of the pinion with a driver lengthens or shortens the plate incrementally for custom length adjustment. The length is fixed in position with the simple removal of the driver and no further step is required to lock the plate length.
