A system for generating electrical power may include a flowline having an inlet that receives reservoir fluid at a first pressure, an outlet that outputs the reservoir fluid at a second pressure, a first flow path between the inlet and the outlet, and a second flow path between the inlet and the outlet, in parallel with the first flow path. The difference between the first pressure and the second pressure may include a pressure differential, and the system may include a valve that adjusts the pressure differential. Additionally, the system may include a turbine disposed along the second flow path that generates mechanical energy from a flow of the reservoir fluid induced by the pressure differential, and the mechanical energy may be converted to electrical energy.

Method and system for power generation

An apparatus includes a sensor for sensing pressure, temperature, or another physical parameter at a wellhead assembly or other oilfield component. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a wellhead body and a branch assembly coupled to the wellhead body such that a bore of the branch assembly is in fluid communication with an interior of the wellhead body through an access passage of the wellhead body. The branch assembly includes a penetration extending outwardly from the bore to an exterior surface of the branch assembly that is radially outward of the bore, and a sensor is installed in the penetration of the branch assembly. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

Wellhead assembly monitoring sensor and method

A generator unit of a system for generating electrical power includes a generator coupled to a turbine. A flowline coupled to the generator unit conveys a fluid to an inlet of the turbine. A second flowline couples an outlet of the turbine and a tree of a well at a wellsite. The second flowline conveys the fluid from the outlet to the tree.

Systems and methods for electrical power generation

A flow meter system is disclosed that includes a first flow sensor and first and second fluid flow conduits extending from the first flow sensor. The second fluid flow conduit may be disposed inside the first fluid flow conduit thereby forming a fluid annulus between the first and second fluid flow conduits. The first fluid flow conduit may be metal to resist a fluid pressure differential and the second fluid flow conduit may be non-metal to balance a fluid pressure across the second fluid flow conduit and attenuate noise therein. The fluid annulus may be configured to receive a fluid to balance the fluid pressure across the second fluid flow conduit.

Flow meter system

A fluid injection system includes a choke valve having at least one inlet. The system also includes a water injection line extending between a water supply and the choke valve, and the water injection line is configured to flow water from the water supply into a first inlet of the at least one inlet of the choke valve. The system also includes a polymer injection line extending from a polymer supply toward the choke valve, and the polymer injection line is configured to flow a polymer in a substantially non-inverted state from the polymer supply toward the choke valve. The choke valve is configured to receive the water and the polymer and to facilitate inversion of the polymer as the water and the polymer flow through the choke valve.

System and method for fluid injection

A fluid injection system includes a water injection assembly having a choke valve configured to receive water from a water injection line and to provide the water to a main bore of a well head. The system also includes a polymer injection assembly having a dedicated polymer connection configured to receive a polymer from a polymer injection line and to direct the polymer toward the main bore of the well head to facilitate mixing of the water and the polymer within the main bore.

A system includes a subsea chemical injection system configured to inject a chemical into a well, wherein the choke trim comprises a first cylinder comprising a first plurality of spiral flow paths, a second cylinder comprising a second plurality of spiral flow paths, wherein the first cylinder is disposed within the second cylinder, and an outer portion comprising a plurality of axial passages, wherein the second cylinder is disposed within the outer portion.

Low shear trim

An integral sensor system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a sensor installed in a carrier and a component having a body for receiving a fluid. The carrier is integrated into the component to enable the sensor to detect one or more characteristics of the fluid, and the carrier is integrated into the component such that an interface between the carrier and the component is a fully integral pressure boundary without a seal connection between the carrier and the component. The carrier can be welded to the component to form the integral pressure boundary. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
