A door assembly includes a door having opposing first and second surfaces and a hole defined in the door and extending between the first and second surfaces, a cylinder lock mounted to the second surface at the hole, and a cylinder dry lock assembly mounted to the door at the hole adjacent the first surface. The cylinder dry lock assembly including a main body that defines a central orifice, a low-friction member received within the central orifice, and an actuation mechanism extending from the low-friction member and engageable with the cylinder lock. Actuating the cylinder lock rotates the actuation mechanism, and the cylinder dry lock assembly generates a sealed interface at the hole that prevents water from migrating between the first and second surfaces at the hole.

Cylinder dry lock assembly

A door system includes a doorframe having opposing vertical jambs, a door pivotably coupled to the doorframe, a threshold extending between the opposing vertical jambs and providing an upper surface that defines a valley, and a dam removably mountable to the threshold at the valley. A valley seal interposes the dam and the threshold at the valley when the dam is mounted to the threshold and thereby generates a sealed interface between the dam and the threshold.

Water resistive entrance doors for buildings

A hinge for a bi-fold door is integrated with a pair of stiles. Each stile has a hinge flange integrated to the stile. Opposing stiles with opposing and aligned hinge flanges collectively create an integral hinge assembly that may be useful in thermal doors employing one or more thermal breaks.

A bone screw comprises an interior channel and at least one opening extending from the interior channel to an exterior of the screw shaft. A head is connected to the screw shaft. A fluid delivery probe comprises an interior channel. The fluid delivery probe is locked to the head so that the fluid delivery probe does not separate from the head under extremely high pressures when a fluid is pumped through the fluid delivery probe and into the screw shaft. Also, a leak-free seal is formed between the fluid delivery probe and the screw shaft so that the leak-free seal does not leak under extremely high pressures when a fluid is pumped through the fluid delivery probe and into the screw shaft.

Bone screw

A fluid delivery and bone screw driver apparatus attaches to a bone screw. An inner sleeve joins a material delivery source connected to one end of the inner sleeve to the bone screw connected to the other end. A removable liner communicates the material through the inner sleeve and into the bone screw. An outer sleeve seals the outer sleeve to the head of the bone screw. Rotating the outer sleeve tightens the seal and rotates the bone screw.

Fluid delivery and bone screw driver apparatus

An apparatus for increasing the insulation value of a window system with a weep hole includes a flapper valve with a buoyant flap articulating relative to a non-moving portion. The flap is positioned on the window frame over the weep hole proximate the inside of the structure in which the window system is installed and the non-moving portion is attached to the window frame. The flap may be held against the frame around the weep hole by gravity and/or by the elastic memory of a portion of the flap, such as a plastic hinge. The flapper valve is closed when dry to diminish the flow of ex-filtration through the weep hole, but opens in response to being flooded with water due to the buoyancy of the flap, opening the weep hole and allowing the water to drain.
