A live bait baiting apparatus includes a pair of arms. Each of the arms has a first end and a second end. The first ends terminate in a loop. A hook coupler is attached to the second ends of the arms. The second ends are spaced away from each other and the first ends extend away from the hook coupler. The hook coupler has a distal end with respect to the arms. The distal end has an opening therethrough for attaching a hook. Each gill of a pair of gills of a fish has one of the first ends extended therethrough and each of the first ends extends outwardly of a mouth of the fish to position the hook coupler below and behind the gills of the fish. A hook is attached to the distal end of the hook coupler and a fishing line is secured to each of the loops of the first ends.

Bait baiting apparatus

An oil filter assembly includes a pressure relief valve adaptable to wide variety of environments while maintaining ease of assembly and manufacture. The pressure relief valve of this invention also occupies a minimal amount of space within the filter assembly as compared to conventional valve arrangements. In the preferred embodiment, the three-piece filter system comprises a base, a deep pocket filtering media, and a housing shell. The unitary filtering media and cap member are formed as a replaceable component that seats into the housing shell without a center tube or other outside support. When the housing shell is threaded onto the base, the cap member is sandwiched between a ledge on the shell and a seal on the base. The pressure relief valve allows fluid to continue to flow in the event the filter element becomes clogged whereby the valve provides ease of assembly, reduced cost, and reduced valve size.

Filter element

A three-piece filter system comprises a base, a deep pocket filtering media, and a housing shell. The base is adapted to be fitted/threaded onto an engine block, with a sealing surface to provide a seal with the engine block. The filtering media and cap member is placed pleated-media end down into the housing shell. The filtering media self centers and the housing shell with the filtering media attached is attached to the base. The unitary filtering media and cap member are formed as a replaceable component that seats into the housing shell without a center tube or other outside support. When the housing shell is threaded onto the base, the cap member is sandwiched between a ledge on the shell and a seal on the base. The filter media itself is a solid block and has no center tube. The filter media is a solid pleated pocket design affixed to the cap member. In the preferred design, the filter element is square rather than round to increase surface area. The structure of the filter media eliminates the center tube and compression spring and bottom plate typically used inside the shell of a spin-on filter assembly; thus, the number of parts is reduced and assembly is simplified.

Fluid filter and cap member

An adjustable system and an associated method for handling cargo in a cargo carrier are provided. The system includes a plurality of strips of low friction material for supporting the cargo during unloading or loading and during transit. Each strip has a relatively lower coefficient of friction than a floor of the cargo carrier and can be adjusted between an operative position and a non-operative position. In the operative position, the strips extend from the floor of the cargo carrier so that the cargo can be slid upon and supported by the strips. In the non-operative position, the strips are adjusted relative to the floor so that cargo in the carrier is at least partially supported by the floor.

Adjustable system and method for facilitating handling of cargo

A panel-type filter employs a rectangular filter element having shifted pleats wherein the peaks of the pleats on the upstream and downstream sides of the filter medium alternate between high and low peaks. By so configuring the filter medium, turbulence is decreased at the upstream side of the filter which reduces restriction. The reduced restriction increases air flow to the engine which results in reduced fuel consumption and higher engine output power. Moreover, compression and turbulence is reduced at the downstream side of the filter resulting in flow past sensors to the engine which is more laminar, thus increasing the effectiveness of the sensors.

An inline cartridge filter for treating coolant liquid used to cool industrial application such as cooling towers and chillers, combustion engine includes an annular filter media disposed around a cylindrical biological control element which includes a biocide for controlling the growth of bacteria and a pH control agent for controlling the growth of algae in the coolant liquid. The filter media and biological control element form a disposable filter element which is mounted in a housing.

A high velocity air filter includes a hollow, generally cylindrical filter element comprised of a filtering material folded to extend back and forth between inner and outer peripheral surfaces to define a series of pleats extending longitudinally of the filter element. The inner edge of a plurality of the pleats is a lesser distance from the longitudinal axis of the filter element than the inner edge of the other pleats, thereby forming a plurality of short pleats and a plurality of long pleats. The inner diameter of the filter element is less crowded than in conventional high velocity air filters. The restriction to airflow is thus lowered without increasing the surface area of the filter media or sacrificing the capacity of the filter element.
