The subject technology enables encryption key distribution when a processor is in offline mode. When offline, key distribution servers can distribute private/public key pairs in place of the processor. The servers can distribute a public key to a user device for encryption of data. The encrypted data can be provided to the processor, which can return a token in response to provide to the first server.

Offline mode for distribution of encryption keys

In an example embodiment, a method for push payment decision routing in relation to a transaction is provided. An example method comprises issuing a virtual payment identifier to a mobile device and receiving payment rules from a mobile device. The user-defined rules include parameters for invoking at least one push payment to be made via the virtual payment identifier for the transaction. Instructions to implement or pay for the transaction as a pull payment are received and, based on the rules, the transaction is completed or paid for a push payment.

Push payment decision routing

A payment terminal includes multiple chips that perform different processing functions within the payment terminal. A terminal chip performs general functionality of the payment terminal while a transaction chip communicates with payment devices such as chip cards and NFC payment devices and processes payment information. The transaction chip may operate in a low power during which communications and processing are limited, and a transaction processing mode in which transactions may be processed. The transaction chip may transfer between these modes based on wake-up messages provided by other devices or circuitry of the payment terminal.

Preliminary enablement of transaction processing circuitry

Various embodiments are related to apparatuses and methods for enabling a sender to perform monetary transactions for a requestor. A sender can use, for example, a payment application associated with a payment processing system to perform a monetary transaction for a requestor. The payment processing system can send information related to the monetary transaction to, for example, a sender-requestor association component. When the monetary transaction is a deposit, the sender can receive funds for the deposit from the requestor. The platform can debit the requestor's financial account for the deposit amount and credit the sender's financial account with the debit account as a physical cash transaction occurs between the sender and the requestor.

Methods, systems, and media are provided for enabling encryption key distribution when a processor is in offline mode. When offline, key distribution servers can distribute private/public key pairs in place of the processor. The servers can distribute a private key to a first server for encryption of data and a public key to the processor, when it is online, to decrypt the data.

A multifunctional visceral catheter having a self-guiding system in the form of a pair of fiberoptic sensor systems which are sensitive to a predetermined analyte, the analyte being one which is removed from the vascular circuit of interest to a high degree, such as galactose in the hepatic venous system or creatinine in the renal venous system. One of the sensors is disposed on the catheter so as to be positioned within the venous system of interest, while the other sensor remains outside the venous system in the vena cava. A substantial difference between analyte concentration values as measured via the two fiberoptic sensor systems provides immediate confirmation that the catheter is properly positioned. In addition to being self-guiding, the catheter provides for direct sampling of venous blood; includes a fiberoptic system for continuously monitoring oxygen saturation in the hepatic or renal venous blood; and is capable of measuring absolute hepatic or renal blood flow. An integral operating unit incorporates necessary fiberoptic system components such as a light source and signal detector, as well as a microprocessor and program memory for implementing various functions of the catheter.

A multifunctional visceral catheter having a self-guiding system in the form of a pair of electrochemical sensors which are sensitive to a predetermined analyte, the analyte being one which is removed from the vascular circuit of interest to a high degree, such as galactose in the hepatic venous system or creatinine in the renal venous system. One of the sensors is disposed on the catheter so as to be positioned within the venous system of interest, while the other sensor remains outside the venous system in the inferior vena cava. A substantial difference between analyte concentration values as measured via the two sensors provides immediate confirmation that the catheter is properly positioned, eliminating the need for fluoroscopy or other x-ray techniques. In addition to being self-guiding, the catheter provides for direct sampling of venous blood; is capable of continuously monitoring oxygen saturation in the hepatic or renal venous blood; and is capable of measuring absolute hepatic or renal blood flow using a tracer clearance technique.
