Technologies are described for a bonnet assembly of a diaphragm valve. The bonnet assembly may comprise a handwheel. The bonnet assembly may comprise a housing. The housing may include a housing base. The housing base may include a top, a bottom, and four sides. Body stud heads of body studs of a body assembly may be in contact with an edge of the top of the housing base. The bonnet assembly may be configured to secure to the body assembly with the body stud heads at least partially exposed.

Keying structure

Technologies are described for a diaphragm. The diaphragm may comprise a structure. The structure may be a disc shape with a top and bottom side. The top and bottom sides may be circular in outline. The diaphragm may comprise a diaphragm stud at a center point on the top side. The diaphragm stud may be configured to couple with a connector of a bonnet assembly. The diaphragm may comprise a diaphragm bead on the bottom side. The diaphragm bead may be along a first axis. The diaphragm may comprise at least one tab which may extend radially from the structure along at an outer edge of the structure. The at least one tab may engage with a bonnet notch of a bonnet assembly to align the diaphragm to the bonnet assembly.

Diaphragm assembly

A valve, including a diaphragm valve, is provided featuring a cover in combination with at least one inner housing component. The cover may be configured with a biased-pin mounted therein. The at least one inner housing component may be configured with a hole or slot formed at a predetermined location where the biased-pin is at when the valve is calibrated to be at a final position. The cover may be configured to rotate and cause an axial translation between the cover and the at least one inner housing component so that the biased-pin engages the hole or slot when the valve is at the final position so as to stop any further axial and rotational movement.

Apparatus is provided featuring a spindle having extending spindle portions configured with spindle glands; a compressor having extending compressor portions configured with compressor glands, and a snap ring configured to engage the spindle glands and the compressor glands in order to attach the spindle and compressor together, so that the compressor may be quickly released from the spindle by releasing an engagement between the snap ring, the spindle glands and/or the compressor glands.
