A tamper-evident structure for securing a lid to a container of a carton for holding a food product includes a plurality of panels having a top panel and at least one side panel, and at least one panel of the plurality of panels is for being attached to at least one of the lid and the container of the carton. At least one indicating feature provides indication that the lid has been at least partially removed from the container.

A method for applying a heat shrinkable film to a carton for forming a shape of the carton is provided. The carton includes a top panel, a bottom panel, at least one side panel extending between the top panel and the bottom panel, and a movable section that is movable between a first position and a second position. The method includes providing a heat-shrinkable but unshrunken film, wrapping the film in an unheated condition around at least a portion of the carton including at least a portion of the movable section of the carton, and moving the movable section from the first position to the second position to form a shape of the carton by heating the heat-shrinkable film to shrink the heat-shrinkable film into contact with at least a portion of the movable section.

Methods and systems for packaging a product

An assembly for packaging a product includes a carton having a top, a bottom, and a side extending between the top and the bottom. At least one of the top, the bottom, and the side includes a movable section that is movable between a first position and a second position. The movable section is biased to the first position. The assembly also includes a heat-shrunk layer overlapping at least a portion of the carton for sealing the carton. The heat-shrunk layer holds the movable section in the second position against the bias.

A container apparatus for simultaneously housing a product and a premium, the apparatus comprising a carton and a premium item. The carton includes a front panel, a back panel and two opposing side panels defining an interior region, and a top closure and a bottom closure for enclosing a product within the carton. A recessing flap is formed in an originating panel selected from at least one of the front panel, back panel and two opposing side panels to form a recessed cell in the carton which is at least partially separated from the interior region of the carton. The recessed cell spans the originating panel and at least one adjacent access panel in the container which is positioned adjacent to the originating panel&#x2014;to allow access to the recessed cell from outside the carton through at least two adjacent sides of the carton. The premium item is received in the recessed cell such that the premium item is likewise accessible from at least two sides of the carton. The premium item may be selected from a number of different configurations, and may include an interactive element capable of manipulation without interfering with the interior region of the carton, to enable facilitated viewing and/or playing of a premium without detachment of the premium from the carton.

A gabled, gussetted resealable lined container having an outer carton with foldable closure flaps and a liner within the carton. The upper inner surfaces of the liner are releasably sealed together after filling with product and the upper outer edges adhered to the closure flaps on the carton whereby when the closure flaps are opened, the inner liner is pulled opened and when the closure flaps are closed, the inner liner is resealed to maintain product freshness.

The paper end of at the end of the open bag length is sealed onto itself with seam-paste glue three times providing an extra strong seam to accommodate the ever increasing air pressure created by today's powerful cleaners.
