A garage door ladder storage device includes at least one base structure and at least two ladder brackets. The base structure includes a brace and a plurality of garage panel detachable mounting devices connected to the brace. The two ladder brackets are spaced apart and secured to the at least one base structure. Each of the ladder brackets includes at least one first ladder support section and at least one second ladder support section. The first ladder support section is coupled to the base structure and provides a first surface to support a ladder in a first direction. The second ladder support section extends from the first ladder support section and provides a second surface to support the ladder in a second direction.

Garage door ladder storage devices and methods thereof

A device for storing embedded charge includes a first insulator and at least one second insulator. The first insulator has at least two outer surfaces and has a band gap of less than about 5.5 eV. The second insulator is deposited on at least each of the at least two outer surfaces of the first insulator to form at least one interface for storing charge between the first and second insulators. The second insulator has a band gap of more than about 6.0 eV.

High temperature embedded charge devices and methods thereof

A biosensor has one or more field effect transistors each comprising a source region and a drain region separated by a channel region and a gate positioned offset and spaced from the channel region. The biosensor also has one or more molecular probes coupled to at least one of the channel region and the offset gate, the one or more molecular probes configured to mate with at least one target. A method for detection of a target is also disclosed. One or more targets are immobilized as an electric field shunt between an offset gate and a channel region for one or more biosensors. A target measurement value is determined in proportion to a number of the one or more biosensors having the electric field shunt.

A method of fabricating a microchannel plate includes defining a plurality of pores extending from a top surface of a substrate to a bottom surface of the substrate where the plurality of pores has a resistive material on an outer surface that forms a first emissive layer. A second emissive layer is formed over the first emissive layer. The second emissive layer is chosen to achieve at least one of an increase in secondary electron emission efficiency and a decrease in gain degradation as a function of time. A top electrode is formed on the top surface of the substrate and a bottom electrode is formed on the bottom surface of the substrate.

A microchannel plate includes a substrate defining a plurality of pores extending from a top surface of the substrate to a bottom surface of the substrate. The present invention is directed to an integrated assembly for gathering information and transferring it to a surface. The assembly comprises a housing, a base resiliently connected to the housing, one or more sensors mounted to sense a parameter and a marker positioned so a mark is produced on the surface when the housing is pressed toward the surface. The marker is capable of marking a plurality of different types of marks. Each type of mark provides different information derived from the sensor. At least one of the member and the at least one pair of electrodes is moveable with respect to the other. When at least one of the sections is at least partially between the pair of electrodes, the at least one of the sections has the stored static electric charge closer to one of the pair of electrodes. When at least one of the other sections is at least partially between the pair of electrodes, the other section has the stored static electric charge closer to the other one of the pair of electrodes.

A valve which has a structure with at least one opening and a member which has a fixed static charge and also has a first position exposing the opening and a second position sealing the opening. A method for making the valve includes providing a structure with at least one opening and providing a member having a fixed static charge where the member has a first position exposing the opening and a second position sealing the opening. An agitator includes a base with at least one trench, a structure with at least one opening, and a membrane with a fixed static charge. The structure is connected to the base over the trench with the opening in the structure extending through to the trench in the base. A pump includes a base with at least one trench, a structure with at least two openings, a membrane with a fixed static charge, a first cantilever arm having a fixed static charge, and a second cantilever arm having a fixed static charge. The structure is connected to the base over the trench with the openings in the structure extending through to the trench in the base. The membrane is connected to the base across at least a portion of the trench. The first cantilever arm has a first position exposing one of the openings and a second position sealing the one of the openings. The second cantilever arm has a first position exposing another one of the openings and a second position sealing the another one of the openings.

Micro fluidic valves, agitators, and pumps and methods thereof

An accelerometer includes a housing with a chamber, a member with a stored static charge, and a pair of electrodes connected to the housing. The member is connected to the housing and extends at least partially across the chamber. The pair of electrodes are each spaced from and on substantially opposing sides of the member from each other and are at least partially in alignment with each other. The member is movable with respect to the pair of electrodes or one of the pair of electrodes is movable with respect to the member.
