The liner assembly () is for use in a joint between two pipe segments. The assembly () includes a first ring member (), a second ring member () and a corrosion barrier ring (). The first ring member () is configured to cooperate with a first liner () inserted in a first pipe segment (). The second ring member () is configured to cooperate with a second liner () inserted in a second pipe segment () to be joined to the first pipe segment (). The corrosion barrier ring (is disposed between and cooperates with the first ring member () and second ring member (). The corrosion barrier ring () includes opposing indented ends () cooperating with the second ends () of the first and second ring members (). The second ends () of the first and second ring members () define corresponding registering shapes to cooperate with the opposing indented ends () of the corrosion barrier ring ().

Coupling assembly and method

An insulated tubing is disclosed having a liner, a pipe surrounding the liner defining an annulus between the pipe and the liner, a plurality of sets of spacers, and an insulating material located between the liner and pipe, substantially filling the annulus. The spacers within a set of spacers are spaced apart from each other around the circumference of the liner and each set of spacers is spaced apart from each other set along the length of the liner. A method for producing the insulated tubing is also disclosed.
