The present invention is directed to methods for inhibition of HIV reverse transcriptase, treatment of infection by HIV, prophylaxis of infection by HIV, and the treatment, prophylaxis and/or delay in the onset or progression of AIDS or ARC by administering a compound of structural Formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or co-crystal thereof, wherein X is —F or —Cl, less frequently than once daily.

These antibodies, as well as IgG conversions, are shown to neutralize diverse HIV isolates. Isolated nucleic acid molecules are also disclosed which encode relevant portions of these antibodies, as well as the purified forms of the expressed antibodies or relevant antibody fragments, such as Vand Vchains. The antibody compositions disclosed within this specification may provide for a therapeutic treatment against HIV infection by reducing viral load levels within an infected individual, thus prolonging the asymptomatic phase of HIV infection. The described embodiments relate to slotted substrates and methods of forming same. One exemplary method forms a first slot portion into a first surface of a substrate, the first slot portion defining a footprint at the first surface. The method also forms a second slot portion through the first slot portion; and, forms a third slot portion through a second surface of the substrate sufficiently to intercept the second slot portion to form a fluid-handling slot through the substrate.
