A clamp for use in joining conduit segments comprising a ring sector and a radially projecting channel sector having first and second straps, first and second compression members, a central compression member, and a fastener wherein upon tightening the fastener, axial forces along the fastener are transferred into clamping forces around the clamp in order to seal the conduit segments.

A method of manufacturing a fuel cell electrode includes stamping an electrode workpiece () in a sequence configured to control and/or reduce material growth, such as stamping discrete sections of the electrode workpiece in a sequential order. Method and apparatus for manufacturing a fuel cell electrode

A pipe compression joint assembly () comprises a male pipe end () having an outwardly-extending annular rib (), a female pipe end () adapted for slidable insertion of the male pipe end () therein, a first clamp ring () adapted for slidable coupling with the male pipe end () and bearing against the annular rib (), and a second clamp ring () fixedly attached to the female pipe end (). The first clamp ring () can be controllably urged toward the second clamp ring () after the male pipe end () has been inserted into the female pipe end () so that the female pipe end () deformably engages the annular rib () to effect a sealed joint without the use of a gasket.

A fixed auger assembly () comprises a pair of identical auger blades () mounted within an auger casing (). The auger casing () includes two end sections, () which are substantially identical, with the exception that one end section () is formed with a flared edge () to partially receive the other end section. The auger blades () include a peripheral annular lip () which is used to affix the auger blades within the auger casing. The auger blades () and the end sections () are preferably assembled using a welding process.
