An electrochemically disbondable composition is provided having a matrix functionality and an electrolyte functionality. The matrix functionality provides an adhesive bond to a substrate, and the electrolyte functionality provides sufficient ionic conductivity to the composition to support a faradaic reaction at an interface with an electrically conductive surface in contact with the composition, whereby the adhesive bond is weakened at the interface. The composition may be a phase-separated composition having first regions of substantially matrix functionality and second regions of substantially electrolyte functionality. Adhesive and coating compositions and methods of disbonding also are described.

Electrically disbonding materials

Compositions capable of rapidly curing to a strong substrate bond are removable from a surface to which the composition is bonded without damage to the underlying substrates. The compositions of the present invention may be used in both temporary and permanent bonding and coating applications.

A control apparatus insures precise reading or entry of data in the proper columns and rows or lines of chart sheets mounted atop a board. The same columns with appropriate indicia appear on both the top of the chart sheets and on a vertically shiftable ruler member attached to the board. A slide block associated with the ruler member not only maintains the ruler in a positive horizontal disposition parallel to the chart sheet rows but automatically adjusts in height to accommodate a varied amount of chart sheets on the board.
