In one embodiment, a system provides for end-user control over the automatic recognition of communication situations by detection of unique telecommunication event characteristics and the consequential responses to those situations by invocation of related programmatic responses. The system allows an end user to specify various patterns of telecommunication event characteristics that describe various situational aspects of incoming communications, such as the timing and originator of voice calls, the content of, timing of, and author of chat messages, etc., as well as appropriate sets of programmatic response actions to be performed in response to those communications, such as initiating conference calls, sending chat messages, routing calls to other users, etc. The system monitors incoming communications, matches characteristic patterns to recognize the situations, and then invokes the matching response actions, thereby automating many functions of the communication system that previously would have had to be performed manually.

A telecommunications system, that after a communication is established by a first electronic communication device and a second electronic communication device, while the conversation is ongoing between a first person using the first electronic communication device and a second person using the second electronic communication device, responsive to content of converted text based on a plurality of words spoken, route the content to a cloud-based phone recognition and entity identification, annotation, and relevance processing resource, to enable display of information related to the content by at least one of the first electronic communication device and the second electronic communication device.

Method and apparatus for automatically identifying and annotating auditory signals from one or more parties

A telecommunications system, that after a communication is established by a first electronic communication device and a second electronic communication device, receives digital auditory data corresponding to an ongoing conversation between a first person using the first electronic communication device and a second person using the second electronic communication device, uses that digital auditory data to enable transformation of an information knowledge model, and utilizes the information knowledge model to suggest information for the ongoing conversation.

In one embodiment, a mobile device application automatically identifies and annotates auditory data of a conversation between two or more parties. Digital auditory data is processed to identify at least one fact from the auditory data of the conversation. An identified fact is annotated, based on context and relevance, to search remotely-accessible data for information associated with the identified fact. The information is displayed while the conversation is ongoing to enable verification of the identified fact.

In one embodiment, a mobile device application automatically identifies and annotates auditory data of a conversation between two or more parties. Digital auditory data is processed to identify mention of specific entities. An identified entity is annotated, based on context and relevance, to list one or more actions possible to perform with or on the identified entity, and the identified entity displayed while the conversation is ongoing. An action is selected by signals from an input interface.

A method of morphological reconstruction of biological activity in a tissue sample maps biological data resulting from analysis of tissue samples onto a 3-D morphological rendering of the biological sample. A system allowing a user of a browser program on a computer connected to an open distributed hypermedia system to access and execute an embedded program object. The program object is embedded into a hypermedia document much like data objects. The user may select the program object from the screen. Once selected the program object executes on the user's (client) computer or may execute on a remote server or additional remote computers in a distributed processing arrangement. After launching the program object, the user is able to interact with the object as the invention provides for ongoing interprocess communication between the application object (program) and the browser program. One application of the embedded program object allows a user to view large and complex multi-dimensional objects from within the browser's window. The user can manipulate a control panel to change the viewpoint used to view the image. The invention allows a program to execute on a remote server or other computers to calculate the viewing transformations and send frame data to the client computer thus providing the user of the client computer with interactive features and allowing the user to have access to greater computing power than may be available at the user's client computer.
