An infant support structure is disclosed. The infant support structure includes a support base to support the infant support structure on a supporting surface. The infant support structure also includes a seat supported by the support base at a distance above the supporting surface, a lift mechanism configured to selectively impart vertical movement to the seat, and a rotation mechanism configured to, independently of the lift mechanism, rotate the seat about a pivot point. The lift mechanism is configured to allow rotational movement to be imparted to the seat while the seat is undergoing vertical movement.

An infant entertainment apparatus is disclosed. The infant entertainment apparatus includes a housing with an internal cavity and a lens mechanism disposed within the internal cavity. The lens mechanism is configured to project light from the housing in a first direction when the housing is coupled to a mobile arm and the lens mechanism is configured to project light from the housing in a second direction when the housing is decoupled from the mobile arm. Thus, the infant entertainment apparatus may project light downwards into a crib or upwards away from a crib.

A push toy includes a collecting mechanism and a stirring mechanism in order to enhance the play value. The push toy is comprised of a handle, a housing, and a wheel assembly such that a user may roll the push toy along a support surface. The push toy may collect objects, such as toy balls, store the objects within the housing, and subsequently release or expel the objects so they may be collected again.

The present invention relates to a reconfigurable child receiving device that includes a seat portion and arcuate leg members that support the seat portion above a supporting surface. The seat portion is further supported by arcuate cross members that extend between the leg members and are pivotally connected to the leg members. The arcuate cross member can each be individually pivoted upward above the leg members or downward below the leg members. The pivotal connection between the leg members and the cross members enables the reconfigurable child receiving device to be configured into four different modes of use. In a first mode, both arcuate cross members are pivoted upward above the leg members to allow the device to rock on the leg members in a first direction. In a second mode the second cross member is pivoted downward to prevent rocking in the first direction and to secure the seat portion in a relatively upright configuration. In a third mode the first arcuate cross member is pivoted downward to prevent the device from rocking in the first direction and to support the seat portion in a generally reclined position. In a fourth mode, both arcuate cross members are pivoted downward below the leg members and into contact with the supporting surface to enable the device to rock in a second direction, the second direction being generally perpendicular to the first direction.

An infant support structure with an entertainment device that may be used to pacify and/or entertain an infant is disclosed. In one embodiment, the infant support structure is an infant swing. In one embodiment, the entertainment device includes a toy aquarium. The entertainment device may be removably coupled to the infant support structure.

In accordance with the present invention, a parent unit (receiver) of an infant monitor includes an electronics housing, an antenna, a speaker, and a visual light display portion. In one embodiment, the light display portion is mounted on the front surface of the monitor. In another embodiment, the light display portion is mounted in conjunction with the antenna. The light display portion may include elongate light display members associated with individual light sources (LEDs). Also in accordance with the present invention, a parent unit of an infant monitor includes an LED test or LED 'try-me' switch which allows the parent to both test the visual output of the light display portion of the parent unit (prior to purchase) and test the functioning of the light display portion (after purchase and removal from the packaging) without actually receiving actual sound-representative signals from the infant unit (transmitter).

The present invention provides an infant swing frame having a base, and first and second support posts. Each of the support posts is pivotally coupled at a first end thereof to the base, and each of the support posts has a second end. A cross member is coupled between the support posts. The support posts and the base are reconfigurable between a first position in which the support posts are angularly spaced from the base and a second position in which the support posts are adjacent the base.

A potty training device having a seat with an opening for receiving bodily waste and an electronic unit that includes a housing that at least partially contains a sensor for sensing the bodily waste, a power source, and a sensory output generator for outputting a sensory output when the sensor senses the bodily waste. The electronic unit and/or the seat includes a mechanism located and configured to removably couple the electronic unit and the seat such that the sensor is located so as to sense bodily waste received by the opening of the seat.
