A sensor for determining the oscillating frequency in a fluidic oscillating nozzle and provides an oscillating nozzle, comprising a fluidic oscillator with inlet and outlet and a main channel and at least one control passage surrounding the main channel, and a splitter comprising at least two splitter channels which is attached to the outlet of the fluidic oscillator, wherein the sleeve of at least one of the at least two splitter channels comprises partially a flexible foil. The invention also relates to a method for monitoring a dispensed fluid jet, comprising the steps of providing an oscillating nozzle as described above; and injecting a fluid jet and in parallel determining the oscillation frequency by determining the deformation changes of the flexible foil.

A sensor system, particularly for monitoring the mixing of at least two fluids and a method for monitoring the mixture of at least two liquids. The present invention provides a sensor system for fluids, comprising at least two level sensor which are arranged vertically one upon the other on and connected to an electronic circuit board, four electrodes of four conductivity sensors which are arranged horizontally next to each other at the bottom of and connected to the electronic circuit board; and a temperature sensor which is connected to the electronic circuit board; a connector for connecting the electronic circuit board to a controller; wherein the electronic circuit board is embedded in a hot melt compound which is surrounded by an injection molded housing.

A connection device for providing both a connection for liquid transport and a connection for the transport of electrical energy is disclosed. The connection device comprises a first part and a second part, which detachably connect to one another such that a first liquid conduit comprised in the first part connects with a second liquid conduit comprised in the second part, and a primary coil comprised in the first part inductively couples to a secondary coil comprised in the second part, wherein the first part further comprises a first electronic circuit electrically connected to the primary coil, and the second part further comprises a second electronic circuit electrically connected to the secondary coil.

A disposable dispenser unit is disclosed. The disposable dispenser unit comprises a fluid reservoir, a tag for storing information, a dispenser head having a pump chamber and at least one injector nozzle, and a means disposed at the dispenser head for attachment thereof to a diagnostic system, wherein the pump chamber comprises a piston and the piston comprises a volume which can be filled with fluid.

A device and a method are used for measuring the filling level of a fluid for monitoring a dispense/aspirate process in reaction vessels, including at least one cavity for dispensing and aspirating the fluid, where the cavity is provided with a filling level sensor whose signals, transmitted to an evaluation unit, are evaluated to determine the filling level, the at least one cavity is assigned a receiving body which is closed at the bottom and is separated from the cavity for receiving the fluid, the filling level sensor is at least one thermistor extending along the outside of a wall of the receiving body without coming in contact with the fluid, the evaluation unit evaluates the temperature influence of the thermistor in dispensing, aspirating and in retention of the fluid in the receiving body to detect the filling level, in this way the process monitoring in washing the reaction vessels is improved.
