A multiple output and effect grenade is provided, in which an exothermic delay column is utilized to initiate a series of primers via the application of heat to the strike faces thereof, thereby providing a reliable and relatively safe grenade to ship and store. In particular, a multiple output and effect grenade comprised of an exothermic delay column disposed within a central cavity, operable to initiate a series of primers disposed in primer cavities located within the main body of the grenade. The primer cavities may be arranged in a symmetrical or asymmetrical configuration, so as to produce a firing signature resembling an automatic weapon or random gunfire, respectively. In addition, effect charges, such as illuminants, sound agents, chemical irritants, etc., may be disposed within the primer cavities, as desired by the user.

Multiple output and effect grenade

A system and method for quickly refilling a pressurized irritant dispenser is disclosed. In the system and method, either the dispensing nozzle or the connection between the dispensing nozzle and the valve assembly is replaced with a quick connect fitting. The quick connect fitting allows for both the quick refill of irritant and the quick attachment (and detachment) of various accessories to the pressurized irritant dispenser.

The present invention overcomes the limitations of the prior art by providing a stun grenade device with an elongated cylindrical body having a cylindrical sidewall and opposed top and bottom end faces. The body includes a delay chamber containing a delay material, and has a number of flash charge chambers each containing a quantity of flash charge material. The body defines a number of ignition passages, each communicating from a respective flash charge chamber to the delay chamber. Each flash charge chamber has at least one exhaust aperture penetrating the top or bottom end face. Each flash charge chamber may be formed in an elongated tubular sleeve inset in a frame of a different material.

Multiple report stun grenade

A flare-bang projectile is comprised of a weighty ballast in the front leading edge, a flash-bang charge, a transfer charge and a flare charge that is lit by a starter composition located at the rear of the flare charge. When the flare charge is ignited such that it burns during the flight of the projectile, an the projectile path is indicated to thereby provide warning signaling.

Flare-bang projectile

A flare apparatus constructed of a flare case with a primer functionally coupled to a propellant charge. Loaded within the flare case is a flare cup, having within, a starter composition, a flare composition, and a flash charge. The flare composition is functionally coupled to the flare starter composition, and the flash charge is functionally coupled to the flare composition. Upon primer activation the propellant charge is ignited. Flame and hot gasses from the propellant charge propel the flare cup out of the flare case and downrange while also igniting the flare starter composition within the flare cup. The flare starter composition ignites the flare composition, which produces a visual artifact and subsequently ignites the flash charge which produces a visual and audible artifact at or near the end of its flight.

Flare apparatus

A closure wad is placed at the mouth of the launching end of a shotgun cartridge before the mouth is crimped down to seal the launching end of the cartridge. Both the walls of the closure cap and the walls at the mouth of the plastic envelope are crimped down together, thereby forming a substantially impermeable seal at the launching end of the cartridge. In addition, the inventive closure cap substantially reduces the detritus which is sometimes expelled when a launcher cartridge is fired.

Waterproof cartridge seal

An anti-personnel projectile launched from a weapon shell required at impact to have a low lethality consequence, in which the projectile is fitted in the shell in a shape characterized by a blunt end in the direction of flight and maintained in this shape by oppositely directed air resistance and propelling forces to obviate a change of shape during flight that might cause a serious injury.

Low lethality projectile

A training grenade having reversed threading connecting the fuze assembly and the housing. A tubular interior of the fuze assembly contains a two part fuze charge being five times the size of the fuze charge in a live grenade. The two part fuze charge consists of a delay charge and an output charge, where the delay charge burns down first and ignites the output charge, whose explosion simulates the explosion of a live grenade.

Training grenade

A launching cup has a horseshoe-shaped segment with a right and a left extension, each extension having a hole, and a pin can be inserted through the holes in the extensions to thereby prevent the launching cup from shaking or otherwise falling off the muzzle of the firearm.

Shotgun launching cup

In a multiple projectile launcher system, cartridges are securely held within a cassette that can be loaded into a locking and priming mechanism in a base of a multiple projectile launcher. Once the cassette is loaded into the locking and priming mechanism, the cartridges in the cassette may be primed by moving the locking and priming mechanism (which is holding the cassette) such that electric igniter contacts in the launcher base are in contact with electric igniters at the priming end of each cartridge. Once the cassette is locked (thereby priming the plural cartridges held in the cassette), the cartridges may be fired singly, severally, and/or all at the same time, using an electrically initiated fire control system. The multiple projectile launcher is particularly effective in crowd and/or riot control, where the payload of the cartridges comprise non-lethal and/or less-lethal munitions, such as tear gas grenades, sting-ball grenades, flash-bang rounds, bean bags, etc.

Multiple projectile launcher

A reloadable non-lethal training cartridge is provided comprising a cartridge case, a rear high pressure chamber removably disposed within the base thereof, and a non-lethal payload portion removably disposed adjacent the forward end of the cartridge case. The rear high pressure chamber is provided with a base capable of interacting with a removal tool, such as a hexagonal shaped base capable of interacting with a standard socket. Further, the non-lethal payload portion is comprised of a base and a non-lethal payload, the non-lethal payload and base being removably attached such that one or both of said components may be reused. In addition, the non-lethal payload may be weighted, so as to increase the accuracy thereof.

Reloadable non-lethal training cartridge

A buckshot round for use in large, smooth-barreled weapons, such as an M203 or M79 grenade launcher, wherein the round itself acts as the firing barrel. In particular, a lethal buckshot round is provided, wherein an inner metal cylinder (barrel portion) is encased in an outer jacket, and a shot wad is contained in the inner metal cylinder, such that the inner metal cylinder acts as a barrel for firing of the buckshot from the smooth-barreled weapon. The barrel portion of the buckshot round acts as the firing barrel, and prevents contact of the buckshot with the weapon barrel during firing, thereby providing an accurate firing pattern and preventing damage to the weapon barrel.
