A safety lockout hasp includes a shackle member having a first shackle leg and a second shackle leg, and first and second clasp members pivotally secured to the first shackle leg. The first clasp member includes an apertured flange, and the second clasp member includes a cutout portion positioned to receive the apertured flange therethrough when the first and second clasp members are in a closed position in which at least one of the first and second clasp members engages the second shackle leg. When the first and second clasp members are in the closed position and a lockable retaining member is inserted through a lockout aperture in the apertured flange, withdrawal of the apertured flange from the cutout portion is prevented, thereby securing the first and second clasp members in the closed position.

Safety lockout hasp

A locking clamp device is provided with first and second clamping members. The first clamping member includes a base member with a first clamping surface and a locking member movable with respect to the base member between a securing position and a releasing position. The second clamping member is slidably engaged with the first clamping member and selectively movable to a plurality of clamping positions. The second clamping member includes a second clamping surface opposite the first clamping surface. The lockout device further includes a means for preventing movement of the locking member from the securing position to the releasing position. The locking member is configured to secure the second clamping member in one of the plurality of clamping positions when the locking member is in the securing position.

Locking clamp

A lockout device is provided for an instrument having a body and an actuating member extending from the body for operating the instrument. The lockout device includes a bottom member, a cover member, and a flexible member. The bottom member and cover member are adapted to receive a cinching portion of the flexible member between first and second holding surfaces of the bottom member and cover member. When the flexible member is wrapped around a portion of the body and received between the first and second holding surfaces and the cover member is in a closed position, the first and second holding surfaces prevent movement of a cinching portion of the flexible member.

Lockout device

A lockout device for a switch assembly includes a body and first and second laterally extending pins and a cam member assembled with the body. The laterally extending pins are laterally movable between hole engaging and hole disengaging positions. The cam member is pivotable with respect to the body between locking and unlocked positions. When the cam member is in the locking position, the cam member holds the first and second pins in the hole engaging position. When the cam member is in the unlocked position, the first and second pins are movable from the hole engaging position to the hole disengaging position. The body defines a lock opening configured to receive a lock member to secure the cam member in the locking position.

Switch lockout device

A lockout device is provided for an instrument having a body and an actuating member extending from the body for operating the instrument. The lockout device includes a bottom member, a cover member, and a flexible member. The bottom member and cover member are adapted to receive a cinching portion of the flexible member between first and second cinching features. One of the first and second cinching features includes at least one pin, and the other of the first and second cinching features includes at least one corresponding recess configured to receive the at least one pin. When the flexible member is wrapped around a portion of the body and received between the first and second cinching features and the cover member is in a closed position, the first and second cinching features prevent movement of a cinching portion of the flexible member.

A lockout device is provided for an instrument having a body and an actuating member extending from the body for operating the instrument. The lockout device includes a bottom member, a cover member, and a flexible member. The bottom member is adapted to be positioned over the body and includes a first holding portion and an aperture for receiving the actuating member. The cover member is connectable to the bottom member for movement between a closed position and an open position, and includes a covering portion for covering the actuating member in the closed position, and a second holding portion adapted to abut the first holding portion in the closed position. The flexible member has a first end connected to one of the bottom member and the cover member. The bottom member and cover member are adapted to receive a cinching portion of the flexible member between the first and second holding portions. When the flexible member is wrapped around a portion of the body and received between the first and second holding portions and the cover member is in the closed position, the first and second holding portions prevent movement of the cinching portion of the flexible member.

A lockout device is provided for an electrical plug. The device includes a body and a retaining member disposed within the body and axially movable between a prong retaining position and a prong releasing position. The retaining member includes a prong engaging portion and a prong retaining portion. The prong engaging portion is configured to engage at least one of the first and second prongs when the first prong is inserted in the first slot for movement of the retaining member from the prong releasing position to the prong retaining position. The prong retaining portion is configured to extend through the first transverse aperture when the first prong is inserted in the first slot, and is configured to withdraw from the first transverse aperture when the first prong is pulled from the first slot.

A lockout device is provided for an operable instrument mounted to a structure with a first set of fasteners. The lockout device includes a base member having first and second side walls, an opening disposed between the side walls, a lock tab, and at least one mounting plate removably attached to the first and second side walls. The opening receives the instrument when the base member is mounted to the structure. The lock tab includes an aperture for receiving a locking member. The mounting plate includes a mounting feature for receiving a portion of one of the first set of fasteners to mount the base member to the structure. The lockout device further includes a cover member attachable to the base member and movable between a lockout position and an open position. The cover member includes an outer portion for covering the instrument when the base member is mounted to the structure and the cover member is in the lockout position.

Mountable lockout device

A lockout device for securing a toggle switch. The lockout device includes a body, a first clamping surface, a second clamping surface, and a cam. The first clamping surface and the second clamping surface are moveably coupled to the body and are positioned to define a slot for accommodating the toggle switch. The cam is rotateably coupled to the body. When the cam is rotated in a first direction, the cam moves the first clamping surface towards the second clamping surface.
