A lidded vessel assembly comprises a tubular vessel, a lid, and a latching device. The tubular vessel defines a vessel opening and comprises a vessel base, an inner wall, a sealing area and a parking area both defined on the inner wall and both positioned below the vessel opening. The lid comprises a lid base having an inside surface, and a plug projecting from the inside surface of the lid base. The plug is configured to be inserted through the vessel opening to engage the parking area to define a parking position, and configured to be further inserted through the vessel opening out of the parking area to bias against a portion of the sealing area to define a sealing position. The first latching device comprises a first latching element positioned on the inner wall of the vessel, and a second latching element positioned on the outside of the plug.

A device for providing pipette tips includes a plate-shaped carrier with a base surface, holes in the carrier perpendicular to the base surface, at least one vertically running cut-out in the outer sides of two opposing narrow sides of the carrier to accommodate two vertical guide ribs at a distance from each other, pipette tips in the holes, a bottom part with sidewalls that extend upwards from a standing surface, said sidewalls surrounding a rectangular seat for the carrier with the inserted pipette tips, wherein two opposing first sidewalls project further upward from the standing surface than to opposing second sidewalls, a supporting mechanism on the inner sides of at least two opposing sidewalls to support the carrier in a horizontal alignment at the bottom edges of narrow sides, and two vertical guide ribs engaging in the at least one cut-out when the carrier is placed on the supporting mechanism.

A device for mechanically decollating cells from a cell composite, particularly a shear rotor, a cell isolation unit including such a shear rotor and a method for decollating cells from a cell composite. The aforementioned device includes a rotor having a rotor wall, which is concentrically arranged in a receptacle. A rotor seat is connected to a motor and to which the rotor can be fixed in a detachable manner. A rotational movement of the motor can be transmitted to the rotor by means of the rotor seat. The rotor tapers longitudinally towards the bottom of the receptacle so that different circumferential speeds of the rotor can be transmitted to a liquid sample in the receptacle via the rotor wall.
