The following relates generally to facilitating delivery of prescription medication. In some embodiments, a pharmacy computer system: (i) receives a prescription, (ii) reviews the prescription, and (iii) sends the prescription to an intermediate cloud layer. The intermediate cloud layer may then determine a warehouse to send the prescription to based on at least one criteria. The at least one criteria may comprise at least one of: (i) a health insurance plan; (ii) whether the medication comprises a controlled substance; (iii) whether the medication must be refrigerated during shipping; (iv) a warehouse shipping address; or (v) a fulfillment cap of a warehouse.

System and method for supply chain of pharmaceuticals and other goods

A method for refilling prescriptions including granting access to a website including content from a first server coupled to a network; verifying a username and password entry from a customer; and granting the customer access to a secured portion of the website after verification; generating a prescription order selection display for the customer; generating a display for the customer to allow the customer to access pharmacy data; when the customer selects the prescription order selection, generating one or more prescription order displays to allow the customer to refill a particular prescription; when the customer refills a particular prescription, sending a confirmation of the refill of the particular prescription to the customer; when the customer chooses to access pharmacy data, generating one or more pharmacy data access displays for the customer wherein the customer is allowed to access at least one of a personal prescription history or specific drug information.

Pharmacy network management system and method for refilling prescriptions

A system for accessing pharmacy data and ordering prescriptions via a network includes a network server; an application server connected to the network server; a database connected to the application server, the database containing information concerning drugs and personal information concerning one or more of the customers, wherein the personal information includes a prescription drug history of each respective one of the one or more customers; and an intranet server that is connected to the application server, one or more member pharmacies and one or more shipping facilities; wherein the application server is configured to: cause a browser to display to the customer the information concerning drugs and personal information concerning that customer and display an option for the drug associated with the prescription order to be picked up at one of the one or more member pharmacies or shipped to a postal address.

Pharmacy network management system and method for ordering prescriptions

A method and system for enabling one or more customers to search for a pharmacy store location. The method and system includes an application server connected to a network server, an intranet server, and a database, the application server configured access a network server hosting a network website via the network; display to the customer via the website at least one of a prescription order selection or a pharmacy data access selection; display one or more prescription order displays to the customer via the website when the customer selects the prescription order selection; receive from the customer a particular prescription order via a communication network that connects a plurality of member pharmacies; and determine a pharmacy store location based on at least one of: i) if the store location is a drive through store location; ii) if the store location is within a search radius to the customers.

Pharmacy network management system and method for searching for a pharmacy store location

A method and system for enabling one or more customers to search for a pharmacy store location. The method and system includes registering a customer with the network website; prompting the customer to enter a username and password; and displaying to the customer on the website at least one of a prescription order selection or a pharmacy data access selection. Additionally, the method and system includes receiving from the customer a particular prescription order via a communication network that connects a plurality of member pharmacies; performing a prescription drug interaction check for the particular prescription order; sending the customer a confirmation email corresponding to the received particular prescription order; determining a pharmacy store location based on at least one of the following: i) if the pharmacy store location is a drive through store location; or ii) if the pharmacy store location is a close store location to the customers; and displaying at least one closest pharmacy store location to a geographic location indicated by the customer.

A method and system for implementing an on-line pharmacy website that allows customers of a particular pharmacy company to order new prescriptions, refill prescriptions and transfer existing prescription. The method and system also afford a user access to personal information such as their prescription history. Integration of an internet server hosting the website with a pharmacy company's intranet server and customer database allows a customer full on-line access to their information stored by the pharmacy company, as well as access to drug information. A further feature includes allowing the user to format and print their prescription history and records. Another feature of the system and method includes a 'click-free' registration of customers with the website by entry of customer data by company personnel at any company location connected to the intranet server, such as at a pharmacy store. Personnel solicit information from the customer including, for example, an e-mail address. Registration of the customer is then performed by the company personnel and website access information is, in turn, communicated to the customer via e-mail.

Apparatus and method for accessing pharmacy information and ordering prescriptions

A periodical subscription order system may be used to provide a customized order vehicle for a consumer to purchase a variety of subscriptions from a publisher. A customer may purchase, at a retail location, a giftcard from a point of sale terminal, wherein the giftcard is provided with an identification number. The giftcard may be pre-produced with a specified credit value, or may be purchased for any desired value and may contain storage components for storing the purchased credit value. Information regarding the sale of the giftcard, including the identification number and the credit value may be forwarded to a central system operated by a publisher. The consumer may then be provided with an interface to provide the publisher with the giftcard identification number and to select a periodical subscription from a plurality of subscription options. The publisher may then fulfill the subscription request after determining the validity of the provided giftcard identification number.
